This role will report to the Director of Innovation and Product Planning. This high-visibility position will support the portfolio optimization process for the entire West Division of Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA). She/he will manage the day to day activities of planning, organizing and delivering on the process, while providing relevant analytics and insights when needed. In addition, she/he will work cross-functionally partnering with HQ to optimize the West Division Portfolio. She/he will work with several teams in the organization, (e.g., innovation, brand marketing, customer management, regional sales, supply chain, finance teams) in order to design and execute an effective S&OP process and an optimized Portfolio. This role requires excellent people leadership skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. The role will also lead the process improvement of the current S&OP process, working hand to hand with Supply Planning and Innovation teams (Sector and Division) to develop and implement the best solutions.
Collaborate and partner closely with Supply Planning, Sales, Finance and Marketing cross-functional leaders to ensure successful development and implementation of S&OP
Identify opportunities, propose solutions and manage the implementations of the TPO (Total Portfolio Optimization)
Track and report success of new optimization processes, providing problem solving elements as needed
Manage an coach one direct report
Serve as the major liaison between the Commercial Planning team and the Supply Planning
Serve as the major liaison between the Commercial Planning team and the Commercial team
Support the development and execution of the S&OP
Support the development of presentation materials for senior leadership reviews of S&OP and TPO
Strong analytical skills: ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan, ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex data
Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely
Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously
Able to establish and attain high standards for self and team; able to make decisions and solve problems
Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
Excellent project management skills, including time and resources management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding Powerpoint and deck writing skills
Process optimization training (6 Sigma, Lean, PDCA, DMAC, etc.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent computational skills, e.g., advanced Excel, Tableau, SQL/coding
Prior Commercial and/or Strategy experience
Results-oriented strategic thinker who demonstrates a bias for action with a can-do approach to work
Team player with the ability to excel in an agile, collaborative, ambiguous environment
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, strategy or related field required; Masters degree preferred
2+ years' experience leading teams
5+ years' experience in analyzing and interpreting financial and operations data
Strong leadership skills: ability to direct activities of individual team members towards goals
