Quality Program Standards

  • Comply and maintain quality objectives and standards complementary to corporate policies and goals.

  • Comply and maintain standards for documenting Quality Processes and adherence to Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).

  • Continue to improve quality metrics and maintain goals.

  • Be a role model leader with the quality group and all departments

  • Utilize different business units for expertise

  • Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality standards.

  • Responsible for of all TrackWise events and be abreast of trends and communicate.

  • Base decisions on data; take action when knowing a process is not being followed.

  • Notify Global QA Director and GM of any Level III events immediately upon discovery

  • Responsible for Document Control and trending compliance

  • Responsible for Training Compliance and reporting

Change Management

  • Manages Adherence to Quality Documentation Requirements in support of change control

  • Verifies established training and implementation plans to ensure successful integration of changes

  • Conduct Risk Assessments with any impact to the facility

  • Conduct Design Reviews pre and post a significant change

  • Consults with each business process team in the process improvement to ensure processes are reviewed regularly and changes are implemented in support of corporate objectives and according to established change management, quality documentation and quality program requirements.

  • Track change controls for on time closure and any impacts.


  • Oversee and direct training of teams on quality methodologies, concepts, standards, SOPs and metrics

  • Maintain the Training program and track compliance and competency assessments done when required

  • Work with all departments on best training practices and establish a robust training program

  • Maintain one on ones with direct reports for adherence and awareness of current situations with maintaining goals.

Executive Management

  • Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.

Quality Audits

  • Performs quality audits of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor qualifications and company quality records.

  • Maintains an internal quality audit schedule

  • Maintain external audit schedule

  • Comply with the vendor audit program with key business processes and quality requirements.

  • Participate or lead in client quality audits and manage corrective actions given to completion with process owners with the quality team.

Statistical Analysis, Measurement and Review

  • Maintain and contribute to the Practical Process Improvement

  • Reviews data obtained during quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.

  • Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

  • Oversight of the Safety program in adherence with OSHA guidelines

  • Maintains monthly Safety meetings at both NJ and TN facilities

  • Work with Operations and Human Resources on action plans

  • Adhere to 5S standards and be a role model


  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management

  • Minimum of 5 years Pharmaceutical Distribution Center Management Experience

  • Demonstrated qualities of leadership, initiative, and resourcefulness.

  • Demonstrates sound judgment is setting priorities and decision-making skills.

  • Demonstrated improvement results in multi-disciplinary performance improvement projects.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Articulate and able to express self clearly and concisely.

  • High level of energy, creativity and enthusiasm.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel,Powerpoint and SharePoint for database management preferred

  • Experience using DocUsign, Ariba, Bravo a plus

  • TSA Global regulations & guidelines

  • Meets departmental confidentiality policy of all materials processed.

  • Flexible hours, as required, to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the organization.

This position will use data and quality systems, tools, methodology and processes to improve the performance of suppliers. Essential Job Functions: * Lead supplier ISO audits including pre-audit supplier research, audit planning, audit team coordination, audit report writing and audit finding follow-up to ensure suppliers have quality systems compliant to applicable standards * Update the Approved Supplier List and publish to Master Control as required which involves gathering inputs from domestic and global teams on supplier additions and changes * Work with internal and external cross-functional groups to incorporate improved quality processes. This includes defining the new process and updating associated information systems and documentation * Develop and present training material to suppliers on an as needed basis concerning new initiatives and improvements * Maintain and improve Supplier Quality Procedures and Forms as needed * Support supplier non-conformance and corrective action activities by evaluating root cause and implement action plans * Responsible for data gathering and manipulation for supplier data and metrics. Responsible for sending out performance reports to suppliers * Responsible for the upkeep supplier files including questionnaires, Quality Agreements, amendments, ISO Certifications * This job may require up to 30% of both international and domestic travel Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is preferred * 3 – 5 years' experience required in medical devices or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience * Knowledge of ISO, FDA and MDD regulations is preferred * Certification by ASQ or equivalent organization in lead auditing and auditing experience is preferred * Supplier interface experience is an advantage * Proficient with DAS and or similar report software is preferred * Proficiency with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) * Knowledge of manufacturing, metrology tools and inspection techniques is preferred * Six Sigma or Lean improvement experience preferred * Excellent Organizational skills * Knowledge of statistics, sampling planning and risk assessment (FMEA) is preferred * Ability to communicate effectively across functional organizations and at different management levels is required Wright Medical Group, Inc.
