Are you ready to take on an important role in a marketing team that has a direct impact on the company's bottom line? We're looking for someone with initiative and a passion for optimizing marketing systems and the data that flows through them. You'll support the Vice President of Marketing Operations and Global Demand Generation in managing the marketing tech stack and processes, as well as producing clear and actionable analytics. The ideal candidate loves to dig into data, polish processes, and is an analytics expert who is adept at uncovering and communicating key takeaways in an understandable way.


  • Manage the overall lead funnel and BDR follow-up process worldwide

  • Develop Marketing Dashboards to track key success metrics for the team and executive leadership

  • Creation of effective ROI reporting and identification of the need for data enrichment / cleansing

  • Drive Marketing enhancements for CRM and marketing automation systems

  • Manage the Marketing Operations team and act as technical expert for the MarTech stack

  • Manage the Marketing database to ensure superior data quality

  • Manage lead scoring program and hold regular reviews to solicit feedback for future improvements, report on performance, participate in cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership

  • Guide implementation of a Marketing attribution and Lead-to-Account Matching tool and report on results

  • Partner with Sales BDR teams to define and implement lead assignment logic based on business requirements. Monitor all lead assignments, including "unassigned," to ensure leads are getting appropriate follow-up. Perform root-cause analysis to uncover issues that impact lead assignment and drive to resolution

  • Provide training to new marketing, sales and BDR team members on lead flow process, CRM reporting and dashboards.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations

  • Deep knowledge of Marketing tech stack systems (including Marketo, Salesforce, LeanData, etc.), implementation process and lead lifecycles

  • Experience managing lead scoring models highly desirable

  • Proven hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in

  • Ability to understand and interpret data, and present findings to general marketing and sales audiences

  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical, meeting management, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams

  • Self-starter, strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with global teams and motivating team members

The ideal candidate will possess

  • Conscientious attitude and dependability, strengths in teamwork and communication

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast- paced environment, highly organized, very detail oriented

  • Passion for driving alignment between sales and marketing

  • Experience in Cloud/Security space


  • BA/BS in Marketing, business or related technology area; MBA desired but not required

Leading successful launches of digital marketing campaigns for our clients, the Digital Marketing Operations Manager works with teams across the country to launch effective campaigns on schedule. Ideal candidates have a background in digital marketing, are able to understand ad tech, detail-oriented and great communicators. Location: This position is open to working remotely. Ideally, the person filling this role will be in the Pacific or Mountain time zone. As project manager on campaign launches and ongoing campaigns, the Digital Marketing Operations Manager: * Manages the campaign lifecycle, provisioning work and responsibility to the account team and our partners. * Serves as an account manager for internal sales teams as their go-to resource on the postsale side of the agency. * Serves as central hub for internal divisions that make up the account team, including media buyers, media strategists, creative and more. * Ensures campaigns are on budget and on schedule. * Leads the setup of the campaign tracking process, including creation and implementation of conversion pixels from platforms like AdWords, Facebook and Doubleclick through Google Tag Manager. * Aggregates and analyzes campaign metrics to assess performance, leading to optimization recommendations. * Aids in identifying processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Requirements: * 1+ years of experience in digital media; agency, publisher or client direct * 1+ years of project management experience, specifically managing large scale, complex multi-channel digital campaigns across multiple large clients at once * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in client services * AdWords + Google Analytics Certification * Experience setting up campaigns in platforms such as AdWords, Facebook Business Manager, Doubleclick, Google Tag Manager, etc * Must have a strong understanding of the digital marketplace and the competitive landscape in which we operate * Working knowledge of digital media ad serving technologies, campaign KPIs, and analytics software * A passion for project management and client services * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Working knowledge of Salesforce a plus #GD #LI-MK1 The Mcclatchy Company Tacoma WA
