Reports directly to and under the general supervision of the VP, Marketing, the Sr Manager, Marketing Operations' primary purpose is to assist Great Lakes Credit Union to live out our Vision, "To be the members' trusted financial partner." Responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external members, in alignment with our Service Promise.
The Sr Manager, Marketing Operations' is responsible for implementing data-driven strategies to optimize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. The specialist takes charge of planning and overseeing production processes, data analysis, ensuring brand compliance, and managing technology infrastructure.
As a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for:
Driving various initiatives to improve the efficiency of GLCU marketing investment & spend
Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with business goals and objectives
Monitoring campaign tracking and analytics to ensure campaigns are performing according to expectations
Managing the budget for all marketing initiatives, including tracking expenditures and forecasting future spend
Ensuring marketing materials are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible
Performing market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices
Analyzing data and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Creating and enforcing marketing processes and workflows
Requirements
Five years to eight years of similar or related experience
Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field)
Managerial responsibilities of managing a Lead or Assistant
Ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, along with obtaining cooperation
Makes daily operational decisions, but requires concurrence on out of budget or other strategic direction
Under general management, sets direction for one or more departments
General knowledge of marketing project management systems such as: Basecamp, slack, Wrike, Smartsheet, Canto or similar
Use of digital marketing measurement tools to manage websites, social media and other channel performance is a plus.
Certifications in GA4, Lean Six Sigma or other project management methodologies is a plus.
