Ingredion is hiring for a Sr. Manager, Marketing Insights for the Americas region!

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Insights will be responsible for selecting the appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet defined business objectives within the Insights Center of Excellence (CoE). Accordingly, the role is responsible for planning, facilitating, and managing the organization's marketing research projects, with a focus on primary research. The position is responsible for 3 insights analysts that will focus on specific sub-regions, US/CAN or Mex/SA. By developing a fact-based view of these trends and insights and by working closely with our global growth platforms leaders and the Innovation leaders, the position will provide data and insights that help strengthen our growth strategies and fed our innovation agenda. This role reports to the Head of Insights who leads the CoE.

As an Insights Research Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting diverse research including market assessment, strategic review, consumer research

  • Preparing detailed analyses of the ingredients market, as well as associated competitors and trends evaluations

  • Leading research projects and ensure projects are delivered within agreed deadline

  • Managing collaboration with external research agencies

  • Leading and developing a small team of analysts, and continuous monitoring the quality of information provided by these people

  • Working closely with the Head of Global Insights and providing strategic reports on a regular basis

  • Working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to convert data into insights

  • Leveraging different sources of data, identifying actionable commercial insights

  • Understanding our internal data on sales by market categories and customers, and making recommendations for potential targets in new segments/ customers, by cross referencing business and external market data

  • Identifying ways of interpreting and making recommendations in a concise and easy to understand reports on potential opportunities

  • Becoming an expert at running primary research (customers, consumers), working in collaboration with 3rd party market research organizations and providing support to the regions as needed

  • Building the Annual Learning Plan for NA and managing the NA Insights budget.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Master's degree in market research or equivalent

  • 5 to 7 years of experience within the custom market research industry; 1 to 3 years of ingredients industry experience preferred

  • Strong trends and insights skills

  • Ability to understand and appropriately apply key fundamental B2B marketing concepts, processes, and practices to the position

  • Global perspective with experience working in a global context

  • Project management, process management, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communications and presentation skills

This role will provide workforce insights, and design / develop reporting and analytics solutions for the HR function. They will integrate HR data with other relevant business functions and operations to create analyses and insights that inform business and HR decisions. They will design predictive people analytics models to anticipate workforce trends, and enable informed decisions. Core Responsibilities: * Design and implement a people analytics framework to enable the HR function to make informed business decisions in relation to the Ingredion workforce * Develop, both, predictive and descriptive analytics to solve people related business problems * Design and develop HR Dashboards and Scorecards * Leverage expert-level knowledge of HR data and analysis to drive insights * Partner with the business and HR teams to identify and clarify people issues, and analyze data to drive improvements * Apply wide-ranging experience in people research, quantitative analysis, data science, and data visualization to help Ingredion recruit, select, grow, and retain talent * Perform modeling/analytics to provide senior leaders with insights into the potential impacts of people related issues * Develop and test hypotheses, design solutions, assess operational feasibility, and develop monitoring plans Qualified candidates will have: * Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or Computer Science or other technical discipline, with relevant standalone certificates / coursework * 10+ years experience with HR process and data management, including extensive HR data architecture knowledge * Deep data visualization skills, along with ability to conceptualize, design and develop HR dashboards / scorecards using MS Power BI (ideally 4+ years) * Expertise in People Analytics, Statistics and Data Science Ability to create data models, develop hypotheses and generate predictive insights * Ability to use data and formal measurement channels to track the impact of people analytics on business outcomes * Predictive modeling experience with employee retention, employee performance, and other relevant workforce functions * Ability to use data to anticipate issues, identify opportunities, diagnose, test ideas, and design and improve solutions * Proven record working with senior leaders in metrics mapping, performing advanced analytical analysis and presenting results in a compelling way * Ability to communicate statistical analyses and results to technical and non-technical audiences * Project management experience on technology implementations Desirable requirements: * Workday HCM data architecture knowledge * Workday HCM Reporting tools - ability to develop queries, reports and dashboards * Strong consulting skills * Experience working with globally-distributed international teams * Tableau, as alternate data visualization platform We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
