Sr. Manager, Manufacturing

Piper Health & Sciences is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, GMP Manufacturing to oversee and manage a bioprocessing team within a groundbreaking research organization in Minneapolis, MN. This role will coordinate logistics and team objectives to support large-scale cell production and regenerative medicine efforts.

Responsibilities for the Sr. Manager, GMP Manufacturing include:

• Manage day-to-day operations for a team of Bioprocess Technicians, supporting large-scale cell production.

• Oversee personnel, equipment, materials schedules, and logistics related to cell production/manufacturing activities.

• Ensure quality documentation of deviations and investigations are completed quickly, accurately, and root cause is determined.

• Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and/or increase compliance.

• Monitor and report budget, timelines, and biomanufacturing operations.

• Ensure team meets all compliance requirements, including OSHA, GMP, and internal SOPs.

• Manage the hiring, training, performance, and development of current/future team members.

Qualifications for the Sr. Manager, GMP Manufacturing include:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology, or similar field with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

• Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology, or similar field with 8+ years of relevant industry experience.

• Experience with GMP/cGMP, GDP, and FDA guidelines is required.

• Proven experience managing and developing a team is required.

• Knowledge of cell culture/isolation of human primary cells.

Compensation for the Sr. Manager, GMP Manufacturing includes:

• Salary Range: approximately $150,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience
