Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Manage a large production unit (that may include Maintenance, Engineering etc..) and its related processes and staff,

to deliver products against lowest cost, according to planning and quality requirements.

Analyses production results and defines the short-term manufacturing policy within the constraints of the industrial strategy.

You are responsible for:

Manage a team focused on highly complex and technical operations producing state of the art medical devices

Become a highly visible, hands-on team builder to motivate, coach, and lead a 3 shift Production team.

Collaborate with the Operations, Supply Chain Engineering, finance, and R&D teams to optimize Supply Chain processes, specifically applying Lean principles from the start.

Become a Business Leader across Philips Health-Tech, managing cross factory and cross business goals, product supply, escalations, and communications.

Drive efforts to address regulatory compliance issues related to production. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality and regulatory compliance.

Use strong project management skills in support of Business Goals for Cost Savings, Assurance of Supply, Inventory and Quality.

Lead Capital improvement projects to maintain Operational Excellence and support Continuous Improvement

Preferred candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent, combined with:

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

Five plus experience as a people-manager leading a team of direct reports

Ability to understand technology, process, and critical to product quality characteristics

Proven leadership, persuasiveness, initiative, project management, Lean knowledge and problem solving skills are necessary for success in this position.

Demonstrated Project / Program management skills. Proven track record of on time, in-scope and in budget project delivery.

Intermediate/advanced PC skills, MS Office and Microsoft project applications is required.

As a key representative to many internal and cross site partners, candidate must be well organized and disciplined, and possess very strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to plan, organize, and direct both work flow and personnel is required.

Must be assertive, self-directed, and a good team player.

Green belt/black belt certification or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Knowledge of Medical Device GMP is a plus

Job Description You are responsible for Ensure EPA and PA DEP environmental compliance for required regulatory items and permits. Oversee water treatment operations including maintenance, control monitoring and compliance. Assist in maintaining documentation, data, and records related the site's ISO 14001 certification. Supporting internal and external ISO 14001 environmental management system audits for the site. Support and over -site of programs including; Solid and Hazardous Waste Management, Recycling, Air Emissions, Energy and Water Reduction Programs, New Chemical Approval, Tier 2 Reporting, Air Source Registration, DOT Hazardous Materials / Dangerous Goods, Wastewater Treatment System Oversight, and other general environmental management system and aspect/impact control programs. Collaborate with other members of the EHS staff on shared programs including; Inspections, Contractor Reviews, New Equipment Reviews, and others as they become necessary. Assist with site emergencies. In this role, will be required to deal with site emergencies that may occur outside of normal work hours. Maintain factory interaction focused on aspect/impact reduction, it may include training, observations and support of our incident and injury free safety culture. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience Bachelor's degree in environmental, health and safety or related scientific discipline with 3 plus years of EH&S experience working in a manufacturing environment.
