The Sr Manager, Learning R&D is a performance consulting and instructional design expert who engages business process owners and functional areas to identify and close personnel performance gaps using innovative learning & development programs.
Engage Business Process Owners (BPO) and Functional Learning Liaisons (FLL) with performance consulting to identify personnel performance gaps which can be addressed with L&D solutions.
Engage Functional Area Leadership and FLLs with performance consulting to identify personnel performance gaps which can be addressed with L&D solutions.
Oversee the design, development and delivery of L&D solutions intended to close personnel performance gaps leveraging Enterprise Learning centers of excellence and/or outside vendors.
Engage approved outside vendors with projects and manage budgets, timelines and quality of vendor deliverables.
Act as SME for R&D Learning business process and provide ongoing support, tools and consulting to enable R&D functional learning execution of the process.
Expert in performance consulting processes for identifying personnel performance gaps.
Expert in instructional design methodology for adult learning course, curriculum and program development.
Proficient in learning project and program planning, execution, status reporting and evaluation.
Proficient in training program evaluation techniques for learning effectiveness.
Strong management skills, and ability to effectively lead and collaborate with various business functions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working understanding of GRP, GLP, GCLP, GCP and GVP regulations is preferred.
Masters of Education or Instruction Design
Seven or more years performing training related roles supporting adult learning in a life science industry setting.
