Job Functions
Lead the Golf Grounds and Irrigation Group Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to develop and achieve customer finished goods requirements for use in sales forecasting, financial, supply chain and manufacturing planning. Integrate distribution channel forecasts, sales and marketing input, forecast models, production planning and supply chain product movement. Develop and oversee the business intelligence systems that are used to track supply chain product movement, geographical market analysis, dealer sales, including booking, forecasting, and channel reporting, corporate boundary data warehouses, industry reporting for use by the Corporation and numerous technical and analytical systems. Ensure inventory and asset management guidelines are achieved to meet business financial goals.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Oversees and leads improvements across the IBP process including demand/supply planning, utilization and optimization of manufacturing resources, Drives integrated executive alignment to improve customer service levels, market share, working capital, cost competitiveness, and profit.
Influences the collection and analysis of forecast data by product utilizing best methods (statistical models and software) to drive an efficient and accurate monthly IBP process. Solves for complex issues and acts as thought leader for optimal KPIs to measure results and accuracy.
Leads a team in the analysis of data pertinent to the demand, supply, financial forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions) and ensures risks and opportunities are identified and communicated to key process stakeholders.; Implements and presents key reports to inform IBP and business decisions; develops high quality forecasts in terms of accuracy, timeliness, coordination and communication.
Leads meetings with cross-functional teams and with division leadership, including the management business review to drive decision making and alignment on the monthly consensus demand and supply plans with rigorous analysis resulting in options, risk scenarios, and recommendations.
Resolves demand and supply exceptions and customer service issues with cross-functional leaders; systematically identifies and works to reconcile discrepancies and close gaps through comprehensive forecast error reviews.
Proactively contributes to the annual budget and operating plan development process and partners with the finance team to incorporate changes as needed.
Influences and holds key partners from cross-functional teams such as product development, sales and marketing, operations, and finance accountable for consistent process inputs and addresses variances and gaps.
Identifies any short and long-term supply constraints and makes recommendations for item/customer rationalization.
Responsible for ongoing development and deployment of the business systems in supply chain demand and business intelligence applications for internal and external use. Recommends system advancements and establishes integrated processes with other divisions.
Partners with corporate IBP lead on development and standardization of IBP policies, processes, key performance indicators and education and training packages.
Creates a culture of constant metric evaluation and continuous improvement, including coaching, mentoring and developing team members.

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a strong background in business systems, business analysis, sales forecasting, and production planning (MBA preferred).
10 or more years of experience.
Five years of supervisory experience.
Must have experience with spreadsheets, project management experience, SAP or Enterprise software knowledge, and strong understanding of distribution requirements software and processes.
Strong leadership in Value Stream
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to lead people and communicate with all departments that are involved with the supply chain process.
