Job Summary:

Sr. Manager Incentive Compensation and Commercial Insights focus is driving quality Incentive Compensation data and reporting, along with assessing internal and market trends for providing superior Commercial Insights. This individual is a leader who consistently and relentlessly delivers clear and precise data, supporting the commercial team to drive both growth and profitability. The role requires a proven track record of supporting sales across a complex business model. The role includes leading project management for building the back-end structure of Incentive Compensation models, also to collect, evaluate and drive reporting through HTRx's technology stack for directing continuous improvement. This person will assist in establishing commercial pipeline development and territory structure and will validate quantitative volume and reimbursement trends through standardized and custom reports used for helping to make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will have expert level proficiencies with Excel, SQL, Tableau and the MS Office suite of programs; with some Salesforce.com admin. knowledge. This role reports to the Vice President Commercial Operations and Effectiveness.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administering and managing the organization's incentive compensation plans. This involves tasks such as modeling the plans, eligibility management, calculating payments, maintaining data integrity and post IC reporting.

  • Mapping and/or designing processes/systems to ensure seamless compensation processes and enhance efficiency and transparency in compensation calculations. The role may involve projects related to enhancements or system upgrades.

  • Responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing sales data and tracking metrics related to sales performance, customer interactions and retention.

  • Produce and maintain sales reports, providing insights into trends, performance, and areas for improvement.

  • Prepare forecasting databased on historical trends and offer insights on data integrity and trends.

  • This includes timely deliverables such as monthly sales reports, contest standings, and executive level reports.

  • Assist in establishing sales targets and plans.

  • Assist in evaluating the health of the incentive compensation and sales process to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.

  • Manages changes to territory alignments using territory software and through optimization analysis, then push the adjustments into the CRM.

  • Update maps of geographies for all stakeholders

  • Assist the Sr. Manager Commercial Enablement in maintaining information in the CRM system(salesforce.com).

  • This includes assessing workflows, data integrity, trouble shooting and optimization.

  • Work closely with interdependent departments, including sales, marketing, operations, lab ops., RCM, and finance.

  • Fulfills ad-hoc reporting requests with an ability to identify opportunities for report automation.

Qualifications:

Education -

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Competencies/Skills -

  • Salesforce development and customization applications for businesses with Salesforce and non-salesforce features, within the Lightning Component framework

  • Strong demonstrated analytical skills in understanding complex financial, customer, marketing data and drawing relevant and significant conclusions leading to actions

  • Familiarity with the US medical provider system, especially doctor practice and prescribing patterns

  • Experience -

  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to present concise details

  • 1-2 different life sciences (pharma, lab, device) companies that had at least 50 reps/territories. Lab experience strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years in a sales analyst position

  • Experience with 3rd party data companies like IQVIA, DHC etc. is a plus

  • Must be proficient/advanced in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Tableau and SQL experience required

  • CRM (salesforce.com) basic admin knowledge is ideal

  • Experience with data mining and financial modelling

  • Leading process improvement projects

  • Highly organized, motivated and meticulous in their work and projects

  • Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines

  • Detail oriented while maintaining an extremely positive attitude

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Other experience such as marketing or carrying a sales bag preferred, but not necessary

  • Certifications/Licenses -

  • Incentive Compensation certification is preferred
