The GTA Excellence Programs Team contributes to the all-up mission by enabling productivity and impact through global programs. We deliver the overall programs strategy and roadmap for the organization & then see that strategy through to execution.

This Sr. Manager position is accountable for the oversight of our system applications, managing a team of business product owners, and working closely with internal product teams, 3rd party SaaS providers, and CFE to provide the user base with quality and cost-effective solutions.

To ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality data, this role will be accountable for the development and oversight of a new data quality program to define, monitor and measure data outputs. This will include working closely with leadership, data managers, and data consumers to incorporate data stewardship into our standard Rhythm of the Business. Additionally, this role will work closely with reporting analysts and HRBI business partners to plan, prioritize and deliver complete, accurate, timely and consistent outputs.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in leading and managing people

  • Minimum 5 years driving programs/projects and deadlines as a leader and with inclusion.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in risk management (identification & mitigation plans) and change management processes.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing and leading people, teams, and multiple programs & projects end-to-end (strategy to execution).

  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Experience with communicating effectively, being highly organized, possessing strong problem-solving skills and solving complex issues that may arise.

  • Ability to recognize areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementation.

  • Excellent prioritization and organization skills required to meet deadlines.

  • Able to work well in tight deadline-driven, cross-group situations to develop solutions and communicate common results.

  • Understanding macro view of planned delivery, actual delivery, and expectations.

  • Experience in mid-large scale technical programs or projects, preferably at global scale, driving third-party partnerships/relationships.

  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and respond favorably to change.

  • Proven creative problem solving with a lens on candidate or customer experiences.

  • Staffing or recruiting experience a plus, but not required.

  • PMP Certification or equivalent project management experience a plus, but not required

The Microsoft Store Visuals & Experiences team is seeking an experienced Marketing Programs Manager who will lead coordination and planning to support in-store visuals, customer experiences, campaign planning, and in-store set strategy and execution in a productive team environment.
