The Global Product Management (GPM) team will drive the development of strategic product priorities and, in partnership with P&L owners and Product Development, will bring these strategies to life through the creation of go-to-market business plans that disrupt existing Category and Retail channel models across Licensed, Theme Parks & Resorts, Disney store, shop

Disney, Flexible Business Models (e.g. DTR, Wholesale), and 3rd party retail.

This position is responsible for developing overarching retail commercialization strategies for the Disney Stores and shop

Disney.com. Working with the VP, GPM Owned & Operated Retail, this position will provide strategic direction for the Disney Stores and shop

Disney.com teams and will partner with content providers and key internal partners to ensure that the Retail teams are positioned to meet franchise and financial objectives. This position reports to the VP, Owned & Operated Retail.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8-10 or more years in relevant professional experience, preferably in toys, technology and/or the kids' digital space

  • Work with VP and collaborate with cross functional teams to define overarching omnichannel retail commercialization strategies to drive growth for vertical retail channels including the Disney Stores and shop

  • Conduct market research and analysis on competitive and best in class retail experiences and identify key industry trends and opportunities with target consumer

  • Drive innovation and identify new monetization opportunities

  • Work across the Walt Disney Company to identify and implement synergy opportunities

  • Leverage data to continuously improve the retail experience and monetization opportunities

  • Collaborate with DCP marketing and PR teams and support the process of defining the vertical retail brand vision, positioning and communication strategy

  • Actively support and build relationships with key partners across DPECP to amplify efforts across the segment

  • Manage internal relationships with finance, business affairs, legal, brand management, global order to ensure success
