The Senior Manager of Global Market Development for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading market development initiatives that will enable revenue growth in new disease state areas. This role involves a range of activities aimed at commercializing our research use assay portfolio, defining evidence needs, driving disease state awareness and achieving growth targets. You will work closely with a cross-functional team, including medical science liaisons, strategy, product management, inside sales, and marketing communications. By leveraging your expertise and collaborating with key stakeholders, you will play a vital role in shaping market development strategies and driving Beckman Coulter's expansion into new disease-state research areas.

This position is part of the Global Marketing department located in Chaska, MN and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Global Product Marketing team and report to the Senior Director of Global Product Marketing responsible for new product commercialization and thought leadership initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the commercialization activities for our research assay portfolio

  • Lead market development initiatives to gain insights from customer perspectives and build thought leader relationships. This role should dedicate a significant amount of time to customer interactions and opportunities to work in the field with Commercial teams.

  • Develop market awareness strategies, value propositions and competitive differentiated positioning for key research products/workflows and develop content and sales tools to educate and develop the market.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive assessment, customer needs, assess potential partners to develop new market opportunities

  • Build and conduct marketing campaigns to increase disease state awareness, generate leads, and grow the usage of our research assay portfolio

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in field with 14+ years or master's degree with 12+ years or doctoral degree with 9+ years

  • In-depth understanding of the researcher persona or hospital laboratory director roles

  • Extensive knowledge of the IVD industry, encompassing marketing and commercial practices

  • Exhibits exceptional proficiency in execution and succinctly conveying value proposition or strategies to a broad spectrum of leaders, including executive staff. Demonstrates adeptness in communication, and influencing across all organizational levels.

  • 25-35% required travel to support business activities

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Neurology or neurodegenerative knowledge or experience in related field or products

  • Strong financial acumen and competencies

The salary range for this role is $160K - $195K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
