Position Summary / Main purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Marketing, the Senior Manager of Global Brand Marketing will guide all brand and marketing strategy development for Masimo Consumer's highest growth category - consumer health. The individual in this role will support developing and implementing brand marketing priorities, ensuring that all campaigns, new product launches, services, and experiences are well-marketed to our target consumers in all prioritized markets and critical marketplace channels. They will be brief owners, ensuring the brand's strategic direction is at the forefront of every initiative, big and small. In addition to direct people management, this individual will partner cross-functionally with global markets and Masimo Consumer's shared services groups (Creative Services, Product Development, DTC, Legal, Channel Sales, GTM, and Operations), as well as external agency partners, to ensure outstanding and timely execution of all prioritized marketing initiatives.

Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.

Accountabilities

  • Support the VP of Marketing in translating the Masimo Consumer Health brand and the individual product launch strategies into strategic global marketing plans to achieve growth targets and create amazing relationships with consumers, both current and new.

  • Ensure global brand identity is consistent across all marketing executions and communications. Supports the organization through a consumer-first, brand-led mentality.

  • Drive all asset and content creation from the briefing stage to support brand needs through Masimo Consumer's creative services organization or with external firms.

  • Drive deeper understanding of consumers through implementation and analysis of consumer insights and analytics, leveraging key learnings to optimize brand & product strategy.

  • Support the creation of all traditional, performance, digital, social, brand, content, and PR efforts, partnering with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager on paid media implementation while owning owned and earned efforts from start to finish.

  • Become a subject matter expert, ensuring all key value propositions and product features accurately represent and communicate to the right stakeholders. This will include leading briefings to the press as well as internal and external training teams (including customer service).

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (in marketing or related field); MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of brand management experience, inclusive of integrated marketing strategy, campaign development, agency management
  • 3+ years of people leadership

Additional / Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer tech or med tech across fitness, wellness, health, conditions, and telehealth

  • Launched at least one brand that either disrupted or created a category

  • Experience with premium products

  • Global experience

  • People management and coaching

  • Intellectually curious, strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Thorough understanding of end-to-end consumer marketing mix and KPIs

  • Day-to-day management of agency partners (creative, PR, media)

  • Highly organized, independent, and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid collaborative relationships with multiple internal departments and external partners

  • Comfortable working in a less structured environment and able to hold self-accountable with processes

  • Strong PowerPoint creation and in-person & virtual presentation skills; proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Start-up mentality with comfort in a fast-paced environment, wearing multiple hats, and collaborating with different micro-cultures within the broader organization

  • Passionate about purpose-led brands - especially in health, wellness, and fitness - and obsessed with the consumer experience
