Position is responsible for representing the Finance department for Campbell Soup Company for governance and strategic priorities, including driving the enterprise roll-out of a methodology and framework for reporting (leveraging the Power BI platform), implementing an enterprise-wide data governance strategy, designing core data and workflow processes while leveraging a systematic solution (ServiceNow), coordinating with cross-function stakeholders to understand and design key business reporting metrics and data requirements, and facilitating the implementation of controls in Finance and IT as deemed necessary.
This position will also be responsible for evaluating the design of existing financial processes and systems, developing recommendations (both systematic and process driven improvements) and delivering proposed solutions to completion. This position is focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function through existing technologies and new solutions to meet business requirements with consistent processes and controls. Interactions and relationships with key stakeholders across finance and IT will be critical.
Identify improvements to existing processes and platforms
Assess sustainability and efficiency of existing processes and underlying IT systems across a number of key financial processes including accounting, financial planning and analysis, sales finance, and supply chain
Recommend proposed solutions including development of proposals with budgeting and ROI (return on investment) analysis
Develop relationships across various functions within the organization and communicate effectively throughout different levels of the organization
Manage multiple projects and priorities at one time while communicating regular status updates
Manage and monitor enterprise reporting platform (Power BI)
Coordinate cross-functionally with IT and other functions to facilitate adoption of enterprise framework and policies
Responsible to simplify and standardize reporting and data management strategy for the enterprise
Facilitate the identification and implementation of key controls and processes to address financial and operational risks associated with completeness and restriction of data
Responsible for Developing and Implementing Data Strategy and Governance
Develop practical and actionable recommendations to enhance accuracy and efficiency of reporting and master data through use of tools such as ServiceNow and Collibra
Develop enterprise framework to identify and assign accountability within the organization for global processes and data ownership
Manage and monitor on-going responsibility and accountability of global process and data owners through regularly scheduled discussions
Identify and track strategic data priorities and projects for Finance
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
Job Complexity and Scope
Need to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving, and constantly evolving environment
Strong analytical skills focused on process re-design and risk assessment
Ability to communicate at various levels within an organization across functions (Sales Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain,etc.)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or Management Information Systems
8+ years Finance/Accounting experience; Big 4 or other operational Corporate roles preferred
Proven leadership and project management on large scale implementations or projects
Experience in SAP, analytical data reporting and mining tools (e.g. Power BI), and ServiceNow is recommended, but not required
