The Job

Team Coco Enterprises is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Analysis to help with day to day activities for the joint venture while providing operations support, deal analysis and long-range planning. The manager will work cross-functionally between Finance, Production, Business & Legal Affairs and Senior Management to provide traditional finance support related to, but not limited to, financial modeling, reporting, analysis and presentation deck building.

The Daily

  • Prepare and review the monthly forecast and Budget/LRP and identify major risks and opportunities

  • Lead in publishing monthly forecast for senior management and provide variance drivers

  • Collaborate with Ad Sales Finance to ensure timely and accurate reporting is provided to senior management

  • Create from scratch insightful management presentations and analyses of key business drivers, industry trends and key performance indicators

  • Handle day to day production accounting needs such as: Manage bank account

  • Process payments through Smart Accounting

  • Reconcile SA general ledger to PeopleSoft monthly and reconcile P Card's Payroll

  • Collect necessary start forms and process payroll for several employees

  • Prepare bank reconciliation

  • Ensure month-end close is precise by providing the accounting team guidance, insight and contracts for transactions that need to be recorded

  • Track cash receipts by project, prepare participation reporting and create process workflows

The Essentials

  • 6 + years of experience in Finance/Accounting

  • BS / BA degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA preferred

  • Television industry experience required

  • Excellent analytical capabilities - budgeting, forecasting and modeling

  • Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong time-management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in an ever-changing, deadline-driven environment

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management; History of proactive leadership, positive teamwork and collaboration

  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and theories of accounting and financial concepts

  • Hyperion, PeopleSoft experience desired
