Job Description

Manages current and proposed financial plans and policies and recommends changes that will accrue to the organization's profitability. Manages staff of financial analysts. Responsible for analyzing and evaluating financial performance of a department, division, operating/business unit or project. Coordinates and leads financial reporting and planning for an assigned function/department, project or business section; may include billing/pricing, annual operating budget and capital plan. Develops customer/product/pricing profitability models and analyzes results. Consolidates monthly financial results and reports variances. Supports ad hoc requests for business analysis from senior management.

  • Able to navigate by having in-depth functional knowledge, may also have in-depth company and industry knowledge.

  • Manages primarily via technical / professional experts, or via managers within the same functional area.

  • Receives direction in the form of goals and project assignments.

  • General functional management may be assigned or developed by owner and reflective of requirements.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years related experience; minimum 5 years prior management/supervisory experience preferred.

  • Advanced computer software skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; ability to delegate work to subordinate employees; proven leadership ability.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organization skills to handle multiple large, complex new build and renovation projects.  The Sr. Construction Project Manager Provide strong leadership on multiple large, complex new build and renovation projects. He/She will direct design professionals and administer construction contracts necessary to meet project goals while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.<br /> <br />  <br /> <strong>Essential Functions:</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Manage the planning, design and execution of major higher expense and capital projects by providing project leadership, communication, coordination and conflict resolution to ensure project goals are met. Project portfolio: Typically 5-7 active projects with an average total value of $500K or more.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Provide support in pre-project planning activities, including Capital Improvement Plan preparation, funding requests and Board submittals and approval processes.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Manage project from initiation through completion of construction. Responsible for project budget, schedule, and procurement of design, construction services, and owner furnished materials.
