As a leader on this team you will have the opportunity to work in the Boeing Leadership Center (BLC), a world class Leadership and Development facility.

To succeed in this role you should have strong experience leading Global Executive Leadership and Development Programs. Key responsibilities will include leading the strategic design, curriculum management, and delivery of executive leadership development solutions; to include high-potential development and general executive development. You will also have an opportunity to work collaboratively with Client Services and Organizational Excellence teams in supporting executive team effectiveness.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing learning objectives and curriculum management of leadership development content for executives.

  • Leading formal executive leadership development programs and executive High Potential interactions, including:

  • Joint Leadership Development Program (JLDP) and Leaders for Second Century (L4SC)

  • Leading the Enterprise, Leading Organizations, and Accelerating Leadership Excellence (ALE)

  • Executive Transition Programs

  • Leaders Teaching Leaders Strategy

  • Leading a team of internal executive coaches.

  • Ensuring all leadership development solutions are world-class, delivering on the BLC brand.

  • Partnering closely with Global Talent on executive High Potential development.

  • Partnering with Client Services and Organizational Effectiveness to facilitate team effectiveness sessions as needed.

  • Partnering with Client Services to deliver executive leadership development solutions across the enterprise.

  • Providing leadership and guidance to HR, business and functional leaders.

  • Maintaining productive working relationships with peer companies and the learning industry for benchmarking purposes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, creating, evaluating and facilitating leadership development programs.

  • 5+ years of experience coaching and advising executive leaders.

  • 5+ years of instructional design of executive level programs

  • 5+ years of experience as a leader with direct reports

  • Experience creating and delivering presentations to executive audiences.

  • 3+ years of Project/Program Management experience

  • Bachelors Degree

Desired Qualifications/Experience

  • Masters degree or higher

  • Prior experience leading a team of executive coaches

  • Demonstrated executive presentation skills

  • Knowledge of adult learning theory

  • Knowledge of learning evaluation processes and methodologies

The Taxpayer Advocate Service is an independent organization within the IRS. The TAS mission is to assist taxpayers in resolving their problems with the IRS (Case Advocacy), and to identify and propose administrative and legislative solutions to mitigate those problems (Systemic Advocacy). WHAT IS THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (LDP)? The Intake Advocate Leadership Development Program offers structured leadership training and developmental assignment. During the eighteen (18) month program, all participants will attend a pre-classroom orientation, complete Career Learning Plan, ELMS, other online courses and attend leadership-training classes (virtually and/or face-to-face budget permitting). Additionally, candidates may be assigned a mentor, participate in a shadow assignment and possibly a managerial developmental assignment. As a Participant in the LDP you will: * Remain in your current position and post of duty. * Participate in an 18-month training and development program that may include shadowing or acting assignments and a variety of developmental activities. While on developmental assignments, you may: * Instruct employees in specific tasks and job techniques and makes available written instructions, reference material, and supplies. * Maintain knowledge of work in the organization and answers questions for employees on procedures, policies, directives, etc. * Assist in planning work methods and making day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities to meet deadlines. * Distribute and balance the workload among employees in accordance with established work flow or job specialization and assures timely accomplishment of the assigned workload. * Check work in progress and reviews completed work to ensure that supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines are met. * Give feedback on performance, progress, training needs, and disciplinary problems of employees. * Provide for and administers on-the-job training for newly-assigned employees; assists lower-grade employees on more difficult work. * Prepare and assists in disseminating new or revised operating and/or administrative procedures or training material and conducts classroom training as appropriate. * Resolve simple, informal complaints of employees.
