Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications with experience solution architecture, managing support, development and project activities related to Enterprise systems and integrations to join our team!
Lead and manage the work of an Enterprise Applications team including technical and functional resources in the solutioning, planning, resourcing, implementation, enhancement, maintenance and support of Enterprise systems and related applications. Managing the team, setting direction, align goals and priorities, while driving and leading its execution. Communicate effectively and timely with IT and key stakeholders such as the Executives, Directors and other areas. Identify, establish, cultivate and maintain relationship with the all key stakeholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
Build a team that centers around a trusted advisor to key stakeholders and delivery focused that is value driven.
Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Enterprise Applications team (full-time and contractor) in supporting the business Enterprise Applications and interfaces to other systems and platforms.
Develop employees by providing appropriate level of technical and functional skills training for the IT individuals on the team as well as coaching.
Conduct the performance management process with each individual team member, set goals for the upcoming year, evaluate and coach employee performance against those goals.
Develop and maintain system roadmap (both near-term & long-term) that aligns with IT and business objectives which includes SharePoint platform and all associated enterprise applications.
Develop and deploy strategies for resourcing, demand management, lifecycle management, user engagement, and communication, which facilitate implementation of system roadmap.
Manage and accountable for the team's key processes and controls
Responsible for the overall ITGC program as part of the overall SOX compliance program.
Develop and implement ITSM strategy for Enterprise Applications.
Responsible for all web services including management, support and development of internal and external websites.
Responsible for IT management and support of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications including, but not limited to, Ultipro, Cornerstone, OPPM, Adept and all associated interfaces.
Manage and lead internal custom development team using Microsoft Development stack (SQL Server, .NET, TFS, ASP.NET).
Communicate regularly with the user community, working with IT leadership to set priorities, communicate status, document issues, and manage expectations.
Ensure that the team provides high level and responsive support to the Applications Support team. Monitor the service desk system to ensure that incidents assigned to the team are addressed in a timely manner. Make provisions for supporting special off-hours periods from time-to-time, such as quarter or year-end close when end-users may need additional technical support.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in an Information Technology or related experience or discipline.
10+ years related experience in IT Management preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, manage & control activities, teams, timelines, and budget.
Experience managing teams of internal resources, customer and vendor relationships.
Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.

Must possess strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate throughout the organization, from end-users through senior level management. Ability to present complex concepts clearly in easily understood terms.
Ability to effectively manage relationships with end users, senior management, and within IT and ability to build strong relationships with key department leaders and staff.
Team-oriented individual able to effectively build a team and also be effective as team member in various situations as circumstances dictate. The ability to work in a team atmosphere is a necessity.
Ability to prioritize and organize workload across the team, handle multiple large scale projects, and adhere to timelines.
Strong knowledge of ITSM concepts and strategies.
Strong understanding of development and design with the ability to transform user requirements to project specifications and to communicate effectively with end users throughout the project.
Project leadership experience in the areas of functional design, technical design, and technical development.
Ability to lead others in application functional & technical disciplines by determining priorities, providing coaching and mentoring, and developing application roadmap.
Excellent analytical skills and strong problem solving skills are also required.
Ability to set annual targets related to IT applications and monitor the overall performance of the entire Application Support Department. A strong sense of ownership and ability to drive initiatives through to completion in the face of challenges.
This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or/quantitative productivity standards.
This role requires the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Physical & Safety Requirements:
The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
This role continuously operates a computer and other office productivity equipment (i.e. a calculator, copy machine and computer printer).
