This role is responsible for managing and executing global DE&I projects and initiatives for Otis.

Location: CT or FL based candidate preferred, remote available

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, ensure tasks owners are allocated, timelines success criteria are met (projects are inclusive of all the aspects of D&I ranging from research in the field to site development, event planning, DE&I training design and implementation, special programs, internal audits/assessment, heritage celebrations, etc.)

  • Partner and coordinate action with critical functions such as talent acquisition and development, HR practitioners, external organizations to advance representation and inclusion in the organization. Secure buy-in and support from different stakeholders across the business in the different regions.

  • Perform data analysis - gathering input from multiple sources and generating insights through information and analytics to guide actions; establish processes to monitor progress through measurable goals and produce presentations in partnership with HR Reporting & Analytics.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, produce reports on demand with attention to details.

  • Develop communication and gather information to create the narrative of DE&I and success stories for internal and external distribution, including internal and external websites, articles, social media postings, newsletters, DE&I annual report.

  • Coordinate communications with all areas of the organization that impact project scope and initiatives, create activation toolkits.

  • Complete external surveys requesting inputs from different sources, ensuring data integrity and reliability

  • Create communications and update content periodically into share folders, internal websites, and external sites, and collaborate with Internal & External Corporate Communications teams to post on social media and internally.

  • Coordinate and create global teams and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and with expected results

  • Partner by influence with different stakeholders across the business in the different regions (e.g., collaborate with Legal and HR to establish guidelines and policies for various DE&I topics as needed).

  • Responsible for vendor management of external diversity partnerships including the development of a partner engagement strategy, selection of partnership or sponsorship level, coordination of regular meetings, contract renewals, research requests, identifying new partners and finding opportunities for Otis to share best practices with their clients (where appropriate)

  • Manage Employee Resource Groups (ERG) governance globally, design process, and deploy the tools necessary to implement initiatives and gather inputs. Create a communication cadence with them and collect real-time information and produce reports and presentations.

  • Research and partner with HR and the business across the company to establish effective local strategies and programs to develop talent and improve representation.

  • Organizes meetings across different locations - including different time zones and manage action items.

  • Maintain MS Teams sites for collaboration with regular updates

  • Manage ad- hoc tactical request of administrative nature ranging from setting up meetings to taking meeting minutes and the distribution of action items for follow up, pulling reports, and creating presentations as needed.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in business, human resources management or applicable discipline with 7 or more years of relevant work experience

  • An advanced degree and 5 or more years of relevant work experience is required

  • Previous experience with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Management or HR Business Partner roles are a plus


  • Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, reporting abilities and detail orientation

  • Advanced Microsoft Suite competence

  • Creative problem-solving skills, understanding of corporate dynamics, and demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment

  • Excellent communication and organization skills; the ability to successfully navigate within a complex business landscape. Able to create convincing presentations and written material that could be used internally or externally

  • Ability to effectively analyze, measure and evaluate program/ initiatives and processes impact

  • A high degree of professional maturity and proven ability to demonstrate initiative and drive.

  • Resourcefulness, independent working style, and ability to establish and maintain high-quality standards of work.

  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail and relentless follow up, adapt to changing priorities and demands and to identify and resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner.

  • Integrity in handling confidential information and data

The role will be responsible for the design and development of complex and large scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights and address reporting needs. Location: Remote, U.S. based Accountabilities: * Proactively guide a team of data engineers through key data driven objectives related to the global data strategic road map. * Possess in-depth knowledge on big data architecture and experience designing & optimizing scripts to build scalable, modular, and efficient data pipelines. * Demonstrate advanced expertise of multi-cloud infrastructure solutions with breadth of technical experience and aptitude to adjust to new technologies and cloud trends. * Possess extensive experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure deployments in enterprise-wide environments. * Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights. * Provide experienced guidance in architecting batch-based data processing patterns and pipelines, real time streaming and event based data solutions. * Possess an aptitude to be hands on at code level and the ability to abstract details to create meaningful articulation depending on the audience. * Engage in deep technical discussion, bring in thought leadership to various situations and help architect data solutions for the enterprise needs. * Participate as a strong proactive driver and collaborator with a willingness to work with and mentor geographically distributed teams. * Leverage multiple tools and programming languages to analyze and manipulate large data sets from disparate data sources. * Develop frameworks, standards & reference material for architecture and associated tools. * Design data marts and data models to support data science and other analytic requirements. * Collaborate with data science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into highly available, production systems. * Determine appropriate procedures to identify and collect all required data, validate process and recommend improvements to quality of data. * Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form. * Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices, performance improvements etc. * Prepare documents for data architecture and maintain knowledge of overall architecture structure. Qualifications: * Minimum 7 years of multi cloud architecture and infrastructure management (Azure, AWS , GCP). * Advanced programming skills in multiple scripting languages (Python, Scala, Spark SQL, Java). * Knowledge of cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. * Expert knowledge in Azure Cloud Platform (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Cosmos DB). * Strong Working knowledge of Spark Data Bricks, Delta Lake, Snowflake, Hadoop, HD Insight, Hive, etc. * Strong understanding of Cloud Security principles - Azure Security Center, Network, Infrastructure, Platform security. * Hands-on experience in Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) * Working knowledge of Power BI, Qlik and / or Tableau. * Experience with R, Azure Machine Learning, a plus. * Experience with MS Dynamics data integration and development, a plus. * Experience with Oracle - JD Edwards ERP, a plus. * Bachelor's degree and equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline. * Master's degree preferred.
