SR MANAGER CREATIVE STUDIOS
This is a critical position that leads Brand Creative as lead photographer/videographer/creative director and manages the team in the Photo and Video Studios to ensure high quality photo and video assets are developed for: packaging, brand, social, web demos, ecommerce, content and corporate needs for consumer facing global distribution. The incumbent is responsible for human interest and product only projects and must be able work with children and deliver moments that drive emotional connection with consumers.
The Sr. Manager Creative Studios manages day-to-day operations, personnel and budget of both Photo and Video Studio including photographers/videographers (FP & IC's), booking/recruiting talent, safety, wardrobe, room and set styling, interns, wranglers, greeters, hair/make-up including on campus and at location shoots.
Deliver the cohesive brand look and feel across consumer touchpoints.
Manage all aspects of the Fisher-Price Photo/ Video Studios to provide best-in-class global assets and deliver overall Mattel objectives.
Serve as lead photographer/videographer in both hands on and advisor capacity as well as Creative Director leading team in creating and delivering brand look 'n feel across all assets for global distribution. Must provide leadership role to photographers, videographers, packaging/graphic designers, stylists, wranglers and child/adult talent.
Effect creative and conceptual excellence in lighting, sets, camera techniques, etc.
Manage daily operations, budget and personnel of photo and video shoots including pre-production and production.
Responsible for managing overall planning, processes and budgeting working with internal staff, freelance, temporary staff, vendors/ partners to meet the client's needs and expectations.
Manage recruiting efforts for adult and child talent as well as ensuring all processes meet COPPA compliance and New York State Labor Laws and breadth of diversity.
Innovation Trends, styling, and technology require continuous evaluation and improvement to keep assets current and relevant with today's consumer and marketplace.
Visually - Work collaboratively with Brand and Packaging leaders (and outside design agencies) to research/evaluate and execute changes based on the evolving needs of the consumer and retailers.
Technologically Work with Virtual Teams to continue the development of utilizing virtual models, augmented reality experiences, continuous lighting, stop motion clips, and new opportunities.
Digitally - evaluate how our assets are stored and utilized by clients to provide enhanced assets, keywording, etc (MAX and future platforms).
