Senior Manager, Content Marketing

Allegro is seeking to add a Senior Manager of Content Marketing to our Corporate Marketing Communications team.


As our Senior Manager of Content Marketing, you'll lead Allegro's global content strategy and elevate Allegro MicroSystems' reputation as a market leader in power and sensing semiconductors and solutions. In this visible role, you'll have individual contributor responsibilities while managing a small team. Using your strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, you will lead the development of business-critical customer facing messaging, content and campaign strategies globally. You'll work closely with the business units, the Director of Corporate Marketing, and the Marcom team to effectively promote Allegro's latest technologies and products. The successful candidate is a seasoned marketer who is passionate about developing and delivering effective communication strategies and meaningful content to our target audiences to drive business results.


Content: Drive Allegro's content marketing strategy for specific product categories and market segments aligned with business objectives. Manage content calendar, coach technical content creators and edit content from technical subject matter experts. Participate in product launches to build product messaging and develop content for product collateral.

Marcom: Manage day to day development and coordination of marketing project plans with cross functional internal teams, external teams, and vendors. Drive content and messaging for social platforms, video development and blog posts. Oversee the process for producing images, videos, collateral, etc. in support of key product and technology launches.

Storytelling: Develop clear, compelling, and impactful messaging based on value propositions, and ensure message alignment between product line, business unit, and corporate communication campaigns. Understand market segmentation and targeting as part of a customer engagement and lead generation strategy.

Analysis: Optimize messaging and marketing strategy based on campaign and promotion results. Ensure tracking mechanisms are in place for reporting purposes.

Collaboration: Foster strong engagement and healthy cooperative partnerships with internal stakeholders, including product line, digital marketing, sales, and business leaders, to understand relevant technology trends and customer needs.

Experience & Skills

  • BA/BS degree

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of people management experience

  • Excellent storytelling skills, demonstrated in written and multimedia content

  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Able to enforce brand voice and writing guidelines

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain content calendars

  • Ability to understand and clearly communicate the company's strategy and technology

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the company and influence without authority

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize projects based on ROI and business impact

  • Excellent project management and time-management skills to simultaneously drive on-time execution of multiple projects

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools & Content Management Systems

  • Proactive, team-oriented approach

Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a BSEE w/5+ years (or MSEE w/3+ years) of directly related Power Management experience. Strong technical, business and communication skills are required - candidates must possess the ability to make clear technical and business related presentations. Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following: * An understanding of DC-DC converters such as buck and boost topologies; * Exposure to one or more of the following: Automotive Infotainment, Automotive Control Modules, Automotive LED Lighting, ADAS, Alternative Energy Power Systems, or Hybrid Power Technology.
