We're looking for a Senior Manager, Content Business and Operations to join Snap! As a member of the Content Business and Operations team, working from our New York, NY office, you will help drive a team that sets our content partner strategy, develops meaningful insights and analytics on partner performance, manages our partner operations scale-up and supports the overall health of Snapchat's content ecosystem. You will work closely with internal teams including Strategic Partner Management, Business Affairs and Programming, as well as key external partners. Your working knowledge of the content business landscape as well as digital advertising and monetization businesses will help Snap ensure that it remains a leader in the content space and remains a premiere destination for our partners.

To be effective in this role, you must be self-motivated, a strong leader, comfortable with ambiguity and able to switch between many hats in a day.

What you'll do:

  • Be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the execution of an ambitious content strategy, including content partner strategy, insights and analytics on partner performance, partner operations scale-up, and supporting the overall ecosystem

  • Prepare and present strategic plans and updates on ongoing progress to the executive team

  • Develop unique approaches to finding insights in partner performance data (audience, engagement, and revenue) and drive the ecosystem

  • Develop and share with executives dashboards that improve visibility into performance of our content business overall, as well as the experience of individual partners

  • Lead strategic initiatives for executives on the Content team and occasionally other groups across Snap. Be a flexible leader that can be counted on for any go-to project

Minimum qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience working in technology, media and entertainment, consulting, or investment banking

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience advising a variety of senior executives on complex business issues with strategic, analytic, and solutions-oriented guidance

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams in exploring complex data analysis

  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate well with colleagues

  • Proven record of executing independently at a high level against short timelines in a fast-paced industry

  • MBA is a plus

The Business Strategy & Operations Analyst will work to provide strategic support, thought leadership, business analysis, operational rigor and real-time execution to the to business unit leaders / GMs and Strategy and Corporate Development team. S/he will focus on developing and driving long-term and mission-critical initiatives alongside senior management. You will be an exceptional critical thinker and will also have a proven track record of bringing ideas to life. You will use creative yet concise presentation skills to educate and persuade senior leadership, on all strategic initiatives. You must be comfortable influencing and interfacing with various stakeholders at all levels and across functions. Responsibilities: * Proactively ideate, identify, develop, and drive key strategic initiatives that deliver long-term profitable growth at the enterprise and individual brand level * Thoughtfully develop and define business requirements and KPIs that enable the business to track performance and success * Develop a cohesive process and drive the annual and quarterly Verizon board update planning, including developing an annual plan for Verizon's Annual Strategy Retreat * Collaborate with finance teams, business unit leaders, and GMs to ensure consistency of strategy and execution across brands and in accordance with both quarterly and long-term planning * Drive strategic focus to critical growth opportunities and scalable programs that increase operating efficiency * Use creative yet concise and data-centric presentation skills to educate and persuade senior leadership, on all strategic initiatives * Build and leverage best-in-class tools, systems, and capabilities to track and synthesize marketplace and customer intelligence in order to deliver context and motivate action * Provide constant and clear communication of objectives, status, tactics and results to all relevant stakeholders Qualifications: * Professional foundation from a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, or in-house corporate development or strategy team * 3+ years in roles of increasing responsibility developing and executing against corporate strategy, operations management, and/or business development * Demonstrated expertise and experience in some, but not necessarily all, of the following focus areas: Digital Media and Content, AdTech, Search, Data/Analytics, Video/OTT, Carriers and Mobile * Understanding of related industry trends and market participants on a global basis across the Americas, EMEA and APAC * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean organization amidst a shifting competitive landscape * Unmatched attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams without sacrificing quality * Demonstrated track record as a trusted thought partner in an organization, with ability to turn information into effective strategies and executable plans * Strong influencer skills amongst key stakeholders resulting in demonstrable business impacts * Sound business acumen and strategic skills with an obvious operational bent; ability to quickly grasp complex business strategies and identify downstream operational implications * Strong quantitative and analytical capability bolstered by exceptional oral and written communication skills * Excellent ability to listen, understand, and translate senior leadership needs, scope projects accordingly, negotiate objectives and deliverables, and activate the organization to deliver results * An authentic belief in Oath's vision, value proposition, and growth potential * A high level of sophistication with the innate ability to both navigate internal structures and negotiate with external media partners and executives * Curiosity and a desire to constantly innovate, challenge the status quo, and break glass when needed to achieve better outcomes and results * Self-awareness and the ability to foster organizational harmony * Not afraid of long hours when necessary; able to handle stress well and maintain a positive attitude Verizon Media is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
