Job Overview

This position is responsible for leading a team of Project Managers and Business System Analysts who work on large sophisticated enterprise projects/initiatives. This includes providing guidance on project/initiative related tasks and issues, ensuring quality on projects, and helping drive leadership discussions/decisions. This position will also be working directly with stakeholders to resolve and provide appropriate staffing for initiatives, offer guidance on portfolios and initiatives, and partner on short and long term goals. Additionally, this position will focus on their team's professional development, including guidance on setting individual annual goals and development plan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acts as Liaison and provide leadership for team and area of responsibility.

  • Provide leadership, direction and coaching on project specific tasks as well as individual professional development.

  • Ability to see, account for, and mentor others in the "big picture" as well as the details and to be able to tie

  • IT initiatives to Corporate Goals.

  • Utilizes demonstrated ability to establish goals, manage to and evaluate personnel against established goals.

  • Recruit and hire personnel with appropriate skill-sets that can work effectively in the T-Mobile environment and assess, coach, and review.

  • Ensure coverage of all areas of expertise necessary to support and grow the business within the Manager's area of responsibility.

  • Create and maintain staffing plan to support the current and future work demands and project deliverables

  • Creation and support of standards, processes and procedures necessary to produce the deliverables from the team and to work effectively with the other teams.

  • Manages the process and validate quality of deliverables produced by their team.

  • Provides ongoing reconciliation between strategic direction, long-term goals and short-term actions and reconciles the IT Strategies to the Business Strategies.

  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

  • Work Experience:

  • 7-10 years Management, Team Lead, or other equivalent leadership experience (Required)

  • Experience in telecommunications industry preferred. (Preferred)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Washington Pay Range : $164,100.00 - $222,000.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
