Job Overview1. Based in San Diego, underpin the effort of the regional team to drive QC business in Taiwan and potentially other APC regions.2. Support Taiwan and other APAC business needs from San Diego working closely with the sales forces in the region and functional groups (e.g; finance, legal, product management) in San Diego.3. Work with finance to manage pricing of chipsets and software for Taiwan and other APAC customers4. Work with product management in San Diego and regional teams on defining the QCT future product roadmap based on market trend and customers needs and support to promote Qualcomm solutions to customers5. Work with the multiple BUs and business development teams in San Diego to drive more business initiatives and opportunities in Taiwan and other APAC regions.6. Work with other APAC region business support leads in San Diego to explore cross regional business collaboration opportunities 7. Manage full transparency and free communication between the regional teams and San Diego and vice versa

Location/Division Specific Information Life Science Solutions Group – Licensing and Commercial Supply (LCS) How will you make an impact? This role will directly impact our mission of making the world healthier by providing Life Science Solutions group technologies to therapeutics customers on a commercial supply basis for the development & manufacturing of their therapies. The principle market focus for this role in oligo, mRNA, and cell therapy customers. Covering CA and other major markets in the West. Up to 50% Travel required. What will you do? * Develop and execute on molecular diagnostic strategy that aligns to the business unit's strategy. * Identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities to sell the Company's products and capabilities to diagnostic customers on a commercial supply basis. * Initiate and develop productive client relationships in multiple functions (e.g R&D, in-licensing, production, procurement, marketing, quality, regulatory affairs) with client companies and at multiple levels within them (scientist, project manager, manager and executive levels), as may be necessary. * Actively participate on, and may lead, cross-functional teams to execute on client opportunities that include adept coordination of legal, licensing, manufacturing, marketing, R&D, etc * Collaborate with Licensing and Commercial Supply and business unit partners to develop business/partnership frameworks for large, complex, often multi-year mutually beneficial partnerships. Make highly informed judgments of value to the customer upon which to develop financial terms for highly customized products, for which easy benchmarks are often unavailable. Negotiate other business terms and conditions. * Understand and act in accordance to applicable licenses and intellectual property, as well as monitor and manage contracts and relationships with clients and possibly the company's in-licensing team. * Determine client needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve problems in a timely fashion. Investigates product issues and ensures satisfactory resolution of customer complaints. How will you get here? * Requires a bachelor's degree in any life science * Advanced degree and/or MBA preferred.
