Role and Responsibilities

EPP (Enhanced Partner Program) is an aggressively growing business unit within Samsung's larger E-Commerce business. EPP provides exclusive programs and discounts to its members-employees of companies enrolled in the program-with a specific focus on the Fortune 500. These programs and discounts are across all of Samsung's product lines; mobile, home electronics & home appliance. EPP services each audience on a segment level to meet their needs, e.g. Education, Finance, Healthcare, etc. This specific role will service the Government segment which includes government employees, military personnel & first responders with a goal to drive aggressive year-over-year growth in the segment and contribute to an overall EPP $1B+ target in 2023.

THE POSITION

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the overall success of the business unit and help drive $1B+ in revenue

  • Drive revenue within a specific market segment across all of Samsung's product categories

  • Drive new and incremental engagement from partners within the program

  • Harvest partners for incremental revenue opportunities

  • Execute on programs that will drive engagement/revenue

  • Partner cross-functionally with category managers to inform business unit needs

  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing to define market segment needs & opportunities

  • Provide valuable segment insights to business and cross-functional leaders

  • Provide weekly, monthly reporting of all relevant segment metrics

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate has, at minimum:

  • 8+ years of sales or sales operations experience

  • 5+ years of technology or telecommunications experience

  • 3+ years of business development experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with, or for, a Fortune 1000 organization

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate business insights and requirements

  • Experience in the public sector, specifically government or military, preferred

  • Experience with EPP programs and/or partnership with HR/benefits managers preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
