Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Application Shared Services to join our ISD team in Cypress, CA. The Applications Shared Services Senior Manager oversees a multifaceted role encompassing the management of application development, architecture, integration services, operations, and database administration. This position is pivotal in ensuring the seamless technical implementation and support of ERP applications and other key application processes. The incumbent is responsible for enhancing systems to meet the evolving needs of end-users. This role requires adept leadership and strategic vision to optimize application performance and align technological solutions with organizational objectives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise

  • Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.

  • Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.

  • Solicit technical leadership to project managers and programmers working on development project teams.

  • Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining back office systems and software.

  • Champions new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans.

  • Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new application integration technology into the existing Application Integration environment.

  • Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the company's overall strategic vision.

  • Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals that can be achieved with release management enhancements.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Minimum twelve years of experience in the development and maintenance of large-scale application systems such as SAP.

  • Experience with S/4 HANA and SAP RISE

  • Working experience with Defect Management and Testing tools

  • Experience with detailed requirements gathering and creation of functional and technical specifications.

  • Experience leading and managing small to medium size teams.

  • Significant experience with unit and integration testing

  • Experience with post-production application support and maintenance

  • Supply Chain and Financials

  • Experience with Planning and Forecasting

  • Knowledge of automotive related industry

  • Broad process experience

  • Knowledge of the integration points with other modules

  • Comprehensive understanding of ABAP and BTP CAP development

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to achieve results.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in order to interact with users at all levels throughout the organization.

  • Strong business process design and application architecture skills.

Pay Range:

  • $129,520 to - $242,210

Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha's Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
