Zerto is seeking a Senior Press and Analyst Influence Relations Manager to cultivate the company's strategic engagements with influencers who follow and cover disaster recovery, backup/storage, cloud data management and IT resilience. As part of Zerto's dynamic and fast-paced Corporate Communications team, the senior manager will work to establish Zerto as the leading provider of IT resilience and disruptor of transitional backup. In this role, the senior manager will support the strategy development, planning and facilitation of the external and internal PR and AR communications, manage the day-to-day PR agency and engage with executives, subject matter experts on Zerto's product teams and drive an integrated influencers communication plan.

We are looking for an experienced communications leader with a proven ability to:

  • Develop influencer program strategies, goals, objectives, guiding principles, and quantitative/qualitative success metrics.

  • Foster relationships with key influencers and orchestrate communication strategies to guide media coverage and analysts research agendas, ensuring favorable outcomes and building awareness for Zerto as a market leader.

  • Build credibility and trust with senior executives and counsel stakeholders on strategy, plans and issue management related to influencing the analyst and media community.

  • Candidates should be results-oriented, have a strong intellectual curiosity, be comfortable working within a dynamic market space and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A mix of agency and in-house experience is desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Zerto's platform and technology, competitive landscape and issues that impact Zerto's business.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to enhance and evolve the Zerto narrative with the media and analyst communities in new and differentiated ways.

  • Develop and execute analyst engagement plans that will strengthen and build relationships through briefings and other interactions, with a focus on firms like Gartner, IDC and Forrester.

  • Work closely with the PR agency to identify story ideas and opportunities, develop editorial calendar for announcements, media pitches, bylined articles and expert commentary to secure industry and business press coverage.

  • Work across teams to develop entries and submissions for core analyst reports (i.e. MQs) and industry awards.

  • Write and edit a wide range of content and work closely with cross-functional teams on content investments and the integration of content into demand generation programs.

  • Track trends and media/analyst's opinions in key areas and disseminate market intelligence to inform Zerto stakeholder and leadership teams.

  • Negotiate contracts, oversee renewals and agency retainer and manage all activities within defined budget.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 - 8 years' experience in media and analyst relations - focus on B2B, IT audience.

  • Relationships with top tier business & technology press and industry analysts.

  • Experience in enterprise software/technology and has an overall understanding of the industry. Specific knowledge of Backup/DR technology and products is a plus.

  • Self-starter with proven project and business management skills.

  • Polished and professional demeanor and communication skills.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to represent the company in front of discriminating influencers.

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with various product and marketing stakeholders.

  • A BA/BS degree in communications, marketing or technology-related field is preferable.

  • Position is based in Boston, MA with approximately 20% travel.

The Senior Medicare Systems Analyst will lead complex systems process analysis, design and simulation with a focus on platforms used in risk adjustment, pricing, CMS star rating program, and claims adjudication. In turn, this role will drive the delivery of IT solutions for Senior Markets by translating business requirements into technical requirements. Position reports to the Director of Government Programs IT Delivery and will work closely with business stakeholders in the Medicare organization to implement and support best-in-class IT solutions. Senior Medicare Systems Analyst Leads complex systems process analysis, design and simulation across Medicare IT platforms and/or business areas. Has a solid understanding of both Medicare and the related technology stack(s). Has knowledge/understanding of relevant data domains. Generates and drives IT solutions for Medicare Operations by translating business requirements into technical requirements. Responsible for generating or contributing to technical requirements documentation. May translate high level technical requirements, completed by the lead Systems Analyst, to detailed requirements. Identifies upstream and downstream impacts, such as design implications, requirements, support required, etc. of various solutions. Proactively identifies impacts of requirements changes on downstream activities, such as testing. Understands testing/test strategy and can support testing as needed/applicable. Advises business and IT counterparts on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions. Works with the S&P organization to shape business strategic plan by providing objective feedback, insight and recommendations (which may include non technical solutions). Able to communicate technical concepts to business counterparts. Contributes to staff development and acts as a role model, mentor and lead to more junior Systems Analysts. Key Accountabilities: * Lead matrixed teams in analysis of complex process flows involving multiple systems * Identify impacts to process flows related to changes within the Medicare technology stack * Define technology solutions involving multiple systems that satisfy business requirements * Communicate requirements to internal and external teams based on technical solutions * Analyze integration points, coordinate activities of multiple systems analysts, and create documentation as needed to support system integration * Document functional and non-functional system requirements that satisfy business requirements * Influence and contribute to enterprise architecture impacting Medicare lines of business * Engage internal and external teams by executing intake processes and maintaining accountability * Validate IT team and vendor assessments and estimates * Support test planning and execution * Contribute to test case development and test execution as needed * Contribute to portfolio project planning and related documentation * Learn system technology stack for processes that support Medicare lines of business * Learn individual system functionality for systems that support the Medicare lines of business * Define and document system support procedures * Respond to system outages by leading root cause analysis and resolution * Perform production checkout procedures to support introduction of changes in the tech stack * Participate in enterprise technology initiatives to ensure an understanding of impacts to the Medicare business and advocate for Medicare business needs * Recommend and implement improvements that minimize unplanned outages * Work with vendors and internal teams to guide product roadmaps and advocate for business partner needs * Manage vendor relationships to ensure minimal interruption to business operations * Work with vendors, internal team, and business partners to introduce changes into the environment Qualifications: * Strong breadth of knowledge in modern software technologies, including, healthcare payer solutions to understand development standards and best practices * Experience with technical platforms used to support Medicare Advantage plans, including: * Medicare Pricing (e.g. Burgess Source) * CMS Risk Adjustment Processing System (RAPS) * Encounter Data Processing System (EDPS) * Appeals & Grievances (e.g. MedHOK) * Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) * Medicare Stars Rating System * Medicare Advantage Enrollment (e.g. Visiant / ikaSystems) * Medicare Advantage Claims (both local and ITS) * Sales Lead/Customer Relationship Management (e.g. Salesforce.com) * Master degree in technical field or equivalent work experience required * 5-10+ years of experience in systems analysis or programming with emphasis in applications and systems design and development, including Web, databases, and middleware technologies * Experience and industry knowledge in health insurance, with a focus on senior products and claims, is preferred Competencies: * Motivated and curious, willing to ask questions, research issues and take on challenging projects/assignments; creative, brings new ideas to the table, exhibits self-confidence. * Possesses ability to organize and follow-through on multiple tasks, recognizes and attends to important details with accuracy and efficiency, effectively prioritizes work.
