Sr. Maintenance Engineer

Repairs HVAC/mechanical/refrigeration systems either by replacing or renewing.# Inspects and test electrical circuitry or equipment as needed.# Estimates quantities on materials needed to do job and prepare requisitions.# Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical and mechanical components to ensure proper operation of equipment throughout all parts of the hospital.# Read and comprehend blueprints, technical manuals and other publications for proper maintenance and operation of equipment.# Provides services with consideration of the physical, psychosocial, cultural/spiritual, and age specific needs of those served.# Prevents system failures by ensuring that proper preventive and Corrective Maintenance programs are established and functioning properly.# Provides necessary direction to rectify adverse situations or conditions. Qualifications:High school diploma/GED preferred or technical training equivalent, plus (10) years of specialized training/experience in the electrical and mechanical field.

Training in specific items of equipment such as boilers, chillers, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building automation systems is very desirable. Must have a valid NC driver#s license with a good driving history.
