Mainframe Network Engineering will be supporting a firmwide initiative to enable encryption for all data in transit. Our focus will be on assessing all connections to and from the mainframe, enabling encryption, and supporting application adoption. Partner with mainframe security team to identify and assist with certificates required for encryption enablement.
Candidate will also be expected to support production responsibilities of the network team, including TCP/IP, VTAM, NDM/Connect:Direct, FTP, TPX and participate in on-call rotation. They will be expected to lead a team of network consultants spread across North America.#LI-SK1
o IBM z/OS TCP/IP configuration and customization.
o IBM TSO and basic z/OS utilities.
o IBM z/OS platform and software, including operation, customization and problem determination.
o Familiarity with CA/NetMaster, NDM/Connect:Direct, TPX and JIRA a plus.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $205,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
