  • Prepares machine for production by checking operating parameters and equipment for safety.

  • Makes certain all materials for production are available and machinery is ready.

  • Loads parts into machines.

  • Runs parts in machines by following prescribed procedures.

  • Removes parts from machine after cycle is complete.

  • Inspects parts.

  • Trims and buffs parts.

  • Repairs defective parts.

  • Inspects own work and work of others.

  • Leads operators on a complete production line.

  • Cleans molds and equipment and recommends any unscheduled cleaning or maintenance requirements.

  • Assembles and disassembles molds for Laminated Builders.

  • Completes manufacturing paperwork.

  • Assists with maintenance when necessary.

  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.

  • Follows safe work practices and instructions, and exercises stop work authority if needed.


  • Loads and unloads rubber from skids.

  • Trains and mentors other machine operators.

  • Assists in packaging for shipment.

  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.


  • At least six (6) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Forklift and hoist experience required.

  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Run machines and oversee other machine operators running machines while maintaining acceptable production and quality standards.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Basic mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, conversion of weights and measures).

  • Willingness to learn and teach what you know

  • Prolonged standing and/or sitting.

  • Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and stooping.

  • Press operators lift, push, pull and carry in excess of 75 pounds without assistance.

  • Sand Blaster operators lift, push, pull and carry in excess of 20 pounds without assistance.

  • Deflasher operators lift, push, pull and carry in excess of 20 pounds without assistance.

  • Arc spray operators lift, push, pull and carry in excess of 40 pounds without assistance.

  • May lift, push, pull and carry heavier weight with assistance.

  • Work in extreme heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter.

Our interests are in enabling intelligent applications and corresponding computation learning processing on large and low latent data sets with elastic cloud architecture techniques on premise. This role would engage with team counterparts in exploring and deploying technologies for engineering features and creating algorithms that result in models incorporated into intelligent applications. Along with researching and experimenting with computational learning technologies to keep pace with industry innovation, this role will work closely with statisticians, data engineers, application developers and other IT counterparts to develop, integrate and deploy computational learning as part of applications.
