Senior Loss Prevention Analysts areinternal consultants for the Loss Prevention department. In addition to the responsibilities of the LPAnalyst role they will also be responsible for hypothesis testing, strategicplanning and working cross functionally with Inventory Accounting, Safety,Supply Chain and field management. Theywill also be responsible for performing exploratory data analysis to identifypotential influential variables or relationships and present results to supportstrategies for minimizing Loss/Shrink. The Senior Analyst will be able to provide guidance on findings andimplications of analysis and be capable of explaining these findings tointernal customers. A high level ofaccuracy on all data analysis is expected as well as a desire to learn newapproaches, techniques, and best practices.
Through statistical analysis and modelingimprove on existing or create new strategies for minimizing Loss/Shrink
Solve problems and provide support to field LP/Safety and Security teams through data analysis and reporting. This includes performing exploratory dataanalysis to identify potential influential variables or relationships andpresenting results
Partner closely with LP Process Improvement toprovide analysis to support our Coaching for Quality Audits process and productprotection; includes researching audits, merchandise pricing, scanning, casequantity and store quantity issues
APIS administration - support field LossPrevention with case entry and reporting issues analyze cases and theirdrivers, build reports, maintain stores hierarchy, attributes and item fileprocesses in WebFocus to sends data daily to APIS database
AssistWebFocus developer in troubleshooting issues with web based reporting
Program in the SAS language to retrieveinformation and automate reporting
Support the SSC and Field management through
Skills and Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent inBusiness Administration, Statistics, Engineering or comparable field.
One to two years of experience in an analyticalrole with sufficient experience in other areas to demonstrate a thoroughunderstanding of retailing. Key areasmay include Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Programmingbusiness applications.
Must demonstrate good data modeling/ programmingskills in SAS and be team resource for shrink related reporting/ research/analysis.
Must be able to write SAS code to include leftjoins, having, and exists conditions.
Experience with SAS Macros.
