The Headlines:

In the role of a Sr. Logistics Analyst Rates and Compliance working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Customer Supply Chain team. This person will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and driving the MillerCoors transportation strategy and execution. This position reports to the Manager of Controls and Compliance and works closely with the Logistics and Transportation team along with our Customer Service team.

The Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing $600M in freight spend for domestic and international transportation (Ocean) thru analytics and recommendations to Logistics management that result in the development of programs and initiatives reducing cost, documentation of policies and procedures, and increasing overall customer satisfaction

  • Provide analysis in supporting monthly functional and supplier performance measurements and utilize results to manage suppliers

  • Ensuring SOX compliance for freight payment and audit requirements (internal and external audits)

  • Develop and manage collaborative relationship with Import/Export team to ensure highest levels of service

  • Responsible for alignment of direct reports supporting implementation of MillerCoors transportation strategy and execution consisting of managing all truck loads/freight that move from a domestic or international brewery/warehouse through to final distribution to the distributor customer

  • Key support in the development, analysis, and carrier maintenance to insure deliverance against transportation budgets

  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment

  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business

  • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.

  • You are a skilled negotiator focused on the client; your constant curiosity fosters your innovative style and you can equally execute ideas given to you

  • Strong technical skills (SAP, Business Objects, Access, Excel)

  • 5+ years experience in transportation/logistics, warehousing supply chain preferably in the beverage industry and/or consumer products

  • Bachelor's Degree Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Business required

Strong sense of ownership of work commitments and a hands-on approach. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
