INDUS supports the planning, coordination, and installation activities of Combat System and Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C5I) Systems in aircraft carriers, and other strike group or strike force units (including but not limited to LHA, LHD, LPD, and other L-Class units). Our team is directly responsible for supporting the planning, budgeting, and execution of New Construction (SCN) testing and modernization efforts on Amphibious ship Combat Systems for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department, Amphibious Combat Systems.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Sr. Logistician will provide program management support and perform organizational studies and analysis to define Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and systems engineering requirements in support of the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Program on the CVN/L-Class Support Services contract. This position is located in Pt. Hueneme, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and maintain action status of program requirements to include Product Support related requirements, planning, schedules, and data calls.

  • Provide program, project, data, and system engineering management and analysis support in support SSDS as well as Command data calls and action.

  • Analyze and review data to help provide recommendations to sponsor and Fleet representatives and support the development of presentations, schedules, white papers, strategies, and execution plans for program reviews; address action items; plan, coordinate and participate in meetings and conferences; and research, collect, and disseminate metric data.

  • Provide engineering support for configuration control of hardware and software products for existing configurations, new releases, change requests, and reports of defects.

  • Review, modify, participate, coordinate, and conduct design reviews, documentation, software configuration management modification, peer reviews, in-process and program reviews, and Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB) meetings.

  • Perform, plan, participate, analyze, prepare, and provide subject matter expert assistance for desktop and physical configuration audits.

  • Support analysis and tracking of engineering inputs and metrics to support technical requirements and program reviews including:

  • Performance and Organizational management metrics.

  • Program resource support plans.

  • Integrated Master Schedules.

  • Program Briefings and Technical papers.

  • Bid and proposal support if requested.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.

  • HS Diploma required.

  • 10 or more years of experience providing logistics or product support for U.S. Navy/DoD programs.

  • Experience with Integrated Logistics Support and/or Integrated Product Support in acquisitions.

  • Self-motivated, possess strong analytical skills and be customer oriented.

  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas to others verbally and in writing.

  • Familiarity with standard business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and web-enabled collaboration platforms/applications.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is desired.

  • 15 or more years of experience aboard U.S. Navy platforms providing logistics support.

  • Experience with U.S. Navy combat/weapons systems logistics product development to include: Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis, provisioning, support equipment, technical manuals, computer resources and training.

  • Working knowledge of the Ships Self Defense System (SSDS) utilized aboard U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers and Amphibious Ships.

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $90,000. - $100,000. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
