Who is Global Customer Solutions (GCS)?

Global Customer Solutions (GCS) is MetLifes Contact Center organization. We provide support of key insurance and protection products within the Americas business. The team covers MetLife products, both for individual and employer groups, including Property & Casualty, Dental, Annuities, Life, Disability, Critical and Long Term Care and more. The team provides world-class Customer Service and Sales support to customers via phone and email. They are committed to making a difference through every customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in assessing learning needs, designing curricula, and developing instructional materials to meet business goals of improving service quality, production output / volume within processing units, and/or facilitating the ease of doing business within sales offices.

  • Researches and evaluates detailed training requirements from business customers.

  • Designs and develops comprehensive curricula, training programs, and instructional materials, including instructor-led programs (group) or individual training.

Essential Business Experience and

Technical Skills:

Required:

  • High School Diploma

  • 5+ years of experience of related business experience

  • Must obtain FINRA Series 6 registration within 90 days of employment

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree strongly preferred

  • Strongly prefer current FINRA Series 6 registration

  • Financial Services industry experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to prioritize and work on numerous responsibilities at one time.

Must have three (3) years of experience with: RDBMS in a Unix/Linux environment such as DB2, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, and Hadoop; at least one platform of Unix or Linux; shell scripting; architectural knowledge of enterprise systems; basic system and network administration.
