The Role
The Sr Lead Government Property Admin - Federal is responsible for tracking all Government property in accordance with Lumen's Government approved Property Management Plan and the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The Main Responsibilities
Backup to Government Property Manager Provide oversight and review of property team's tasking to ensure accuracy of records and timeliness to keep the team current on their property duties Conduct quality checks on customer deliverable reports prior to submitting Ability to task property team when necessary Assist in resolution of any issues encountered with property records and processes Some areas of oversight Verify accuracy of property records per FAR requirements.Life cycle management of all assets. Maintain backup files supporting records for Government audit purposes. Generate and deliver quarterly and annual property reports to Government customers or as required.Ensure proper disposition of excess, obsolete, or damaged Government property. Ensure accurate recording of physical inventory data and resolve discrepancies found during inventory. Work with field personnel in conducting annual physical inventories of Government assets and that all database records are updated/adjusted appropriately.Open Lost, Damaged, Destroyed or Theft (LDDT) cases with the Government for any equipment falling in this category. Work with engineers and field techs on any issues regarding Government property. Interface with customers as required on issues pertaining to Government property.Some travel may be required. Other duties as assigned What We Look For in a Candidate
Skills Strong knowledge of FAR requirements pertaining to property management Proficient in Excel Knowledge of SAP a plus Must be able to communicate effectively Highly organized and be able to multi-task. Ability to work effectively and positively in a fast-paced environment.Education and Experience At least two years experience in Government property administration. Associate's degree preferred. Security Requirements US Citizenship required.Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation). The Role This job supports multiple Government contracts that have customer-owned property. The job involves working in the Asset Management Database to ensure records are accurate and complete, researching and resolving any discrepancies that are identified during physical inventories and supporting property audits. It will also involve troubleshooting any issues or anomalies as they occur. The Main Responsibilities * Responsible for managing customer owned equipment warranties, RMA tracking and conducting sparing analysis to maintain appropriate sparing levels to ensure continued rapid equipment repair/replacement to minimize the negative effect of equipment failures to the customer. * Obtain quotes and vendor information relevant to equipment warranties and create purchase requests accordingly. * Generate reports to program management on warranties and extended maintenance agreements to include terms, type of coverage and expiration dates. * Duties include applying DOD documentation and industry standards/practices/frameworks for milestone activity planning, establishing technical baselines, coordination efforts for configuration management activities/CM audits.
