  • Designs computer security, emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests

  • Design intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems policies and configurations

  • Design and maintain email protection policies and controls

  • Leads the design of related compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance with both internal policies and applicable laws/regulations

  • Develops plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field from a 4 year college or university

  • Minimum 6 years of information security management and/or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) certifications preferred.

  • Strong understanding of information security principles and practices including SOC, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Critical Information Security Controls

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities What You Will Be Accountable For… * Engineering and administrating server infrastructure * Performing resource monitoring, performance tuning, and scaling of infrastructure with system/application rollouts and security design * Implementing and engineering solutions based on customer and business needs * Leading IT project initiatives encompassing design and budget considerations * Maintaining and supporting a mix of vendor equipment including Linux, VMware, HP, and Hitachi * Providing technical expertise needed to resolve complex issues Qualifications What you will need to be successful… * 5-7 years of prior work experience engineering and administering Linux Systems * Demonstrated knowledge of multiple technology areas including Redhat and Centos operating systems, Apache httpd and Tomcat, VMware, syslog, tripwire and shell scripting * Experience with Windows 2008R2 / 2012 * Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills * Positive attitude and good communication skills across all levels of the organization, customer oriented * Willingness to load share daily system administrative tasks * Flexibility to provide support during off hours * Excellent project and time management skills; proven ability to function as team member for multiple simultaneous activities * Strong scripting and automation skills * Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3) * Experience with SAN technologies * Basic networking background including Cisco and Dell network equipment * F5 load balancer experience * Database technologies such as Mongo and Oracle.
