Senior IT Business Operations Analyst

What we need:

We are looking for an experienced IT Analyst to join our team, focused on supporting vendor and demand management for Cetera's growing and dynamic IT organization. You will play a key role in optimizing our vendor management strategy and provide critical analysis and insights to our IT business management process.

What you will do:

  • Support Cetera's vendor strategy to build strategic partnerships and optimize expenditure

  • Provide data to support budgeting, demand forecasting, expenditure and other decision support and governance activities

  • Identify and monitor vendor cost savings

  • Partner with procurement and finance to support the process for IT purchases

  • Manage hardware and software licensing needs

  • Support IT Asset Management processes including audit

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Information Systems

  • 5 years of experience in vendor management and procurement including experience working with a corporate IT department

  • Experience planning, scheduling, and managing budgets.

  • Experience in designing metrics to capture vendor performance, IT capacity needs, expenditure and budget control

  • Experienced with Office 360, including advanced skills in Excel

  • Experience with identifying cost-saving opportunities in hardware and software renewals, licenses, maintenance contracts and services

  • Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with an ability to work on a self-directed basis
