NCI Building Systems, Inc. is one of North America's largest integrated manufacturers of metal products for the nonresidential building industry. The Senior IT Business Analyst Supply Chain will be responsible for developing and executing IT strategies for NCI's Supply Chain organization. The candidate will gain in-depth understanding of the customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the Supply Chain operates. Working closely with business stakeholders, the candidate will establish short and long-term IT strategies and roadmaps to meet the capabilities required to address Supply Chain's initiatives and challenges.
Contributing member of a team of analysts and developers who facilitate Supply Chain process and procedure creation and implementation
Represent IT in Supply Chain project and leadership meetings, as appropriate
Single point of contact for Supply Chain management for all technology related initiatives
Build, develop, and maintain highly collaborative working relationships with the business and IT
Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs
Review Supply Chain business processes from end-to-end to identify and address risks
Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies using LEAN methodologies
Serve as a liaison between Supply Chain and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for new systems and tools, system modifications, enhancements and implementations
Lead small to mid-size projects and assist project managers on larger, more complex projects
Track budgets and spend as allocated to projects and initiatives
Provide project level analysis and documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan, and workflow diagrams)
Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project schedules and updates
Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements
Develop and execute test plans, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction
Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and guide others in best practices
Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and vendors
Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, or similar technical discipline
5+ years IT experience as a business analyst
3 years IT experience working with supply chain, manufacturing, or engineer to order disciplines
Experience working within teams
Experience working in an Oracle ERP environment with RFID implementations
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to travel up to 20%
Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to market and report out complex initiatives to non-technical colleagues or business leadership.
Must possess a blend of business acumen, consulting-like abilities, and analytics capabilities to identify areas of need, and develop solutions that will provide optimal value to all internal stakeholders.
Able to prioritize time between strategic thinking and tactical initiatives.
