The Headlines:

In the role of Senior IT Application Support Manager working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North America IT Services Operation team. The person will work closely with regional IT and business stakeholders to understand application support needs and manage the third-party service providers responsible for fulfilling those needs. These IT services support critical business operations, directly affecting the business, so this role has significant responsibility in ensuring the services are delivered without issue.

The Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with third parties to ensure the effective running of IT applications, ensuring consistent adherence to and proper execution of agreed policies and procedures by all parties

  • Direct delivery of IT application management governance processes, ensuring day-to-day operations delivered by internal and external teams are executed as expected

  • Develop plans to identify and fix root causes of application outages and incidents following agreed upon change control and release management processes

  • Act as point of escalation for IT service delivery concerns form the business and IT management for your area, ensuring business impacts are identified and discussed

  • Collaborate with project teams and application/service transition team to ensure that new services and upgrades are implemented without adverse impact the company's critical core system

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree

  • You have at least 10 years of IT experience with at least 6 years in application development or delivery

  • You have at least 4 years in management roles

  • Extensive experience with managing outside service providers

  • You are a skilled negotiator focused on the client; your constant curiosity fosters your innovative style and you can equally execute ideas given to you

Preferred Qualifications: Degree Preferred: Bachelor Degree Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: * Understanding risk management principles or another technical domain related to Risk Management that is applied in the context of a broader understanding of Risk Management, related systems and processes; * Contributing to the development of new subject matter or technical domain specialization related to Risk Management; * Influencing others through a small team of direct reports, through work on projects and in teams, or through leading portions of larger projects; * Encouraging improvement and innovation within Risk Management and nurturing and developing less-experienced staff through coaching and written and verbal feedback; * Performing Risk Management tasks with autonomy; * Understanding information security controls & ISMS standards such as ISO27001/2, CobIT, CRISC etc.; and, * Understanding SOC2 compliance standards.
