We are currently seeking a Senior IR Characterization Engineer.

Come be part of a new team that will design the next generation integrated circuits for advanced sensor arrays.

We are looking for someone who has experience with the characterization and integration of state of the art image sensors. As the Sr. IR Characterization Engineer, you will be the technical leader of a team responsible for testing and characterization of several new image sensors per year. At least 50% of your time will be spent in the lab with remaining time split between data analysis, engineering collaboration, and documentation. You will be relied on to mentor other engineers, communicate across engineering disciplines, and champion efficient organization and documentation practices.

Required skills (> 7 years of experience):

  • Experience testing and characterizing infrared focal plane arrays

  • Able to define and implement IR imaging test and characterization plans

  • Integrated circuit and electronics system test and debug

  • Strong understanding of optical principles

  • Strong hands-on lab skills

  • Aptitude in at least two of: MATLAB, LabView, C/C /C#, scripting languages

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to mentor

  • Documentation, Communication and Analysis skills

Required Education:

BSEE, MSEE preferred
