About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in evolving and growing iOS at thredUP. You'll be a part of establishing best practices, helping to identify great hires as we grow the team, and of course working on exciting features that make an impact on the way we shop.   • thredUP is relocating to Oakland in Fall '19. This role will be expected to work in SF until then.

  • 5+ years of full-time experience as an iOS contributor

  • BS in Computer Science or commensurate experience

  • Experience contributing to a shared codebase

  • Excellent working knowledge of industry best practices

  • Deep understanding of advanced Swift concepts

Has architected, developed, and maintained shared libraries

  • Production app experience at scale - releasing, troubleshooting, monitoring, etc.

  • Ability to balance technical investment with business objectives

  • Passion for mentorship and learning

  • Some production experience with Obj-C (preferred)

  • Commerce app experience (preferred)

  • Open source contributions (preferred)

  • Leadership experience, or an interest in leadership (preferred)
