What you will do:

PGIM Private Alternatives is seeking a Senior Associate for the Business Development team. Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Global Debt Solutions, this person will be responsible for supporting PGIM Private Alternatives' institutional business development activities targeted to private debt investors.

This team is following a hybrid arrangement and are in the office at least 2-3 times a week.

What you can expect:

  • Work with the Head of Global Debt Solutions to support institutional marketing efforts by conducting market research and analysis, developing client content, and participating in client meetings and pitches.

  • Developing a target universe of private debt investors and consultants and helping to further the Business Development team's understanding of private debt investors' needs to effectively develop and/or position PGIM Private Alternatives' products and strategies.

  • Contributing towards the development and production of client materials, including but not limited to pitch books, RFPs and RFI's targeted to private debt investors as well as the coordination of client events.

  • Actively participate in client meetings and sales pitches; oversee due diligence and client onboarding process.

  • Partner with Client Services to oversee the distribution of client communications and portfolio reports to clients and prospects on a regular basis.

  • Be responsible for client and prospect communication database and ensure timely delivery of materials.

  • Assist with a variety of special projects.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a fixed income investment or institutional sales organization

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Discretion required in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $$120,000 to $165,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
