East West Bank is looking for an Investment Analyst. This role will cover leveraged loan investments in assigned industries, making investment recommendations and monitoring the ongoing performance of credits in the portfolio.

The responsibilties will be, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring credits in the portfolio for potential deterioration

  • Makes investment recommendations in the primary and secondary loan markets

  • Creates and updates all required documentation as required by 1. and 2. Above

  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • CFA Certificate preferred.

  • 3-5 years of investment analysis and professional analytical experience required.

  • Buy side investment analysis preferred.

  • Have (or will gain) knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC Laws/Regulations, understand how these obligations relate to his/her role, and comply with these laws and regulations.

Senior Compliance Analyst Summary The Senior Compliance Analyst will play an important role in shaping Green Dot's future-state core compliance programs, including compliance risk assessments, monitoring, testing, reporting, training and issue management. This role will be a member of a dynamic Compliance organization and reports to the Senior Director, Compliance. Responsibilities * Perform compliance risk assessments to evaluate inherent risks associated with applicable laws and regulations, identify controls that mitigate compliance risks, assess control strength and determine residual risks. * Monitor activities and information to evaluate or detect trends that can indicate increasing or decreasing compliance risks. * Conduct testing to validate control effectiveness in mitigating compliance risks and level of compliance with laws or regulations. * Perform Compliance oversight of corrective action plans to remediate issues identified through compliance risk assessment, monitoring and testing activities. * Administer and manage the Compliance Training Program, including planning, training course development and set-up, employee assignment, and completion follow-up. * Support enhancements for ongoing development and reporting of key metrics (e.g., KRIs and KPIs) to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and board committees. * Advise relevant stakeholders on compliance requirements and solutions to mitigate risks with appropriate controls. * Support the Compliance organization with other second-line compliance responsibilities. Requirements * Minimum of two to four years of experience in Compliance, Law or Risk Management, preferably in a financial institution, payments organization, law or consulting firm or regulatory agency. * Knowledgeable in consumer protection, banking and payment regulations. * Understanding of and experienced with the three lines of defense model. * Experienced in compliance risk assessments, monitoring, testing and reporting. * Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on courses of action. * Ability to prioritize and maintain focus on multiple tasks while working in a team environment with diverse stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth and dynamic environment. * Proven skills in relationships building and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. * Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to approach common problems. * Project management and technology skills a plus. * Proficient with MS Office Professional programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio. * Excellent report and presentation design, preparation and delivery skills. * Bachelor's degree required, advance degree preferred (JD, LLM or MBA) and law degree a plus. * CRCM or other relevant compliance certification a plus.
