The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

This position offers a wide range of daily responsibilities and a dynamic workload. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented person to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and administration of all insurance and claims accounting functions.

  • Management of the Bond and National Flood Insurance Programs.

  • Design and maintenance of policy files, certificates of insurance and other insurance related documentation e.g. automobile identification cards, workers compensation posting notices.

  • Responsible for information gathering process to support the marketing and administration of the insurance programs of the company.

  • Design and maintenance of the risk management information systems, including vendor certificates of insurance

  • Cross train with the Claims Supervisor for the investigation, evaluation and coordination of automobile, general liability, workers compensation claims and third party claims.

  • Other duties as may be assigned in support of the risk, insurance, and claims management function.

Requirements- Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in insurance, accounting, or finance.

  • 5-7 years of appropriate property/ casualty or risk management insurance. Claims handling experience a plus.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to work cross functional and maintain an effective working relationship with other groups including Human Resources, Safety, Accounting, Operational Management and Legal.

  • Ability to multi-task and improvise in a fast paced working environment.

Claims Resolution Specialist Job Summary – The Claims Resolution Specialist is responsible for applying fundamental knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle practices and procedures as it relates to researching, analyzing, and resolving open insurance claims and balances. This job requires regular outreach to payors.
