Sr. Instructional Designer's primarily responsible for the effective delivery and design of training programs and materials across the organization. This individual will keep abreast of the latest training delivery techniques. This will be done in accordance with SME's, management and functional leaders to gather information on business needs to design instructor led, Web-based and e-learning training including training processes and procedures. Identifying training needs for facilitator guides as wells as train the trainer sessions. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage/Collaborate and consult with appropriate key business leads and subject matter experts (SME's) to identify business needs, performance goals and appropriate training content

  • Develop project plans for design/development of identified solutions

  • Communicate proactively to provide project status updates to supervisor, requester and other business leads.

  • Develop maintenance plan for training solutions to ensure ongoing applicability/effectiveness of training

  • Work independently with stakeholders to design overall learning and communication approaches

  • Design and develop self-paced learning, instructor-led and e-learnings

  • Manage projects within established scope, timeline, quality standards and resourcing

  • Participate in internal continuous improvement efforts by offering ideas and creative solutions to improve policies, processes and tools

  • Flexibility to assist with leadership projects on request

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree combined with work experience

  • Proven experience with Instructional Design, training, modern learning concepts and applications

  • Intermediate to advanced skill with Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience with Articulate 360, Photoshop,

  • Project Management Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in applicable field of instructional design and technology

  • Experience with incorporating multiple media elements in to learning programs including audio, video, animation, simulation, and self-developing graphics.

  • SharePoint experience

  • WebEx experience

  • Experience designing and developing training for adults in a corporate environment

  • Healthcare experience

  • Ability to develop training content at a faster-than-industry pace

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to work effectively with varying levels of management and build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders

  • Strong collaboration skills both with individuals and teams

  • Results oriented individual with strong influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills
