Sr. Instructional Designer's primarily responsible for the effective delivery and design of training programs and materials across the organization. This individual will keep abreast of the latest training delivery techniques. This will be done in accordance with SME's, management and functional leaders to gather information on business needs to design instructor led, Web-based and e-learning training including training processes and procedures. Identifying training needs for facilitator guides as wells as train the trainer sessions. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage/Collaborate and consult with appropriate key business leads and subject matter experts (SME's) to identify business needs, performance goals and appropriate training content

  • Develop project plans for design/development of identified solutions

  • Communicate proactively to provide project status updates to supervisor, requester and other business leads.

  • Develop maintenance plan for training solutions to ensure ongoing applicability/effectiveness of training

  • Work independently with stakeholders to design overall learning and communication approaches

  • Design and develop self-paced learning, instructor-led and e-learnings

  • Manage projects within established scope, timeline, quality standards and resourcing

  • Participate in internal continuous improvement efforts by offering ideas and creative solutions to improve policies, processes and tools

  • Flexibility to assist with leadership projects on request

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree combined with work experience

  • Proven experience with Instructional Design, training, modern learning concepts and applications

  • Intermediate to advanced skill with Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience with Articulate 360, Photoshop,

  • Project Management Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in applicable field of instructional design and technology

  • Experience with incorporating multiple media elements in to learning programs including audio, video, animation, simulation, and self-developing graphics.

  • SharePoint experience

  • WebEx experience

  • Experience designing and developing training for adults in a corporate environment

  • Healthcare experience

  • Ability to develop training content at a faster-than-industry pace

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to work effectively with varying levels of management and build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders

  • Strong collaboration skills both with individuals and teams

  • Results oriented individual with strong influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills

We manufacture Drexelbrook level products, PMT transmitters and transducers, and Hunter Spring brands at this location. The successful candidate will be leading Operations in a moderate volume, high mix electronic device manufacturing environment. A key position within the site, we are looking for an energetic leader to optimize our operations through practical application of lean methodologies. Director in charge of Manufacturing Operations at the Horsham STC location. Responsible for Production, Materials and Operational Excellence through subordinate managers and supervisors. Duties include directing, planning and process development, equipment selection oversight and overall manufacturing performance of products produced at site. Establishes functional policies and makes tactical decisions within overall strategic direction, with top management guidance. Develops weekly, monthly, annual and long-range production plans and schedules: * Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. * Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence. Focus on Product Quality and Standards and continuous improvement. Drive Lean Manufacturing projects and cost containment programs: * Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determined causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems. * Develop and implement operational methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. * Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. * Focus on Lean Manufacturing Concepts and drive the lean initiatives through the organization. Maintain and influence On-Time Delivery performance and other key operational metrics: * Revise production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure, operation problems or to accommodate a customer need. Compiles, influences, stores, and retrieves production data. Develop annual budgets and monthly plans to support sales targets: * Confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered. Supervisory Responsibilities: * Manage subordinate managers and supervisors who supervise employees in the Operations Department. * Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. * Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
