Job Description:

CACI is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to support the AOC program in Vandenberg AFB near Lompoc, CA. We are looking for a senior candidate with Systems and Network Administration experience.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Day to day maintenance & support of the installed AOC baseline.

  • Augment AOC SPO personnel during major upgrade projects.

  • Provide assistance to site Network Administrators, System Administrators and other site users to increase their proficiency on the fielded baseline.

  • Provide support at AOC sites while site personnel progress through program office provided training.

  • Assist in closing action items noted in the Fielding Summary Memorandum (FSM) and Site-Specific Engineering Plan (SSEP).

  • Assist site personnel with properly configuring, troubleshooting issues, and migrating to new AOC infrastructure components.

  • Assist site personnel with capturing site variances to incorporate into the CM process, data migration (as required), application tuning, domain policies, applying security patches, submitting/closing trouble tickets (as required) and configuring the AOC baseline to minimize downtime.

  • Attend technical exchange meetings, AOC PC engineering and integration meetings, post installation follow-up meetings.

  • Submit recommended changes to AOC configuration.ns.

  • Provide recommendations on performance and security issues and other items of interest relating to AOC baseline(s).

  • Completion of all applicable fielding prerequisites and post install releases (Periodic Maintenance Updates (PMUs), Critical System Updates (CSUs), Fast Tracks (FT), Out-Of-Cycles (OOC) by applicable deadlines.

  • Attend site and SPO fielding meetings, as applicable.

  • Work with key players to identify achievable site-specific objectives.

  • Track lessons learned and metrics and share with other POSSEs and SPO personnel.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current DoD TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility security clearance.

  • CCNP Data Center or 10+ years of commercial/military experience building/configuring/maintaining/upgrading/tuning Cisco UCS infrastructures.

  • Current IAT Level 2 Certification (Sec+ or higher).

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

  • Experience with Cisco Unified Computing System.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with DISA STIG compliance.

  • Knowledge of AOC, its mission and the systems within its current 10.1 baseline.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the full product life-cycle and related configuration management processes and application.

  • Experience in mission management or command & control domains.

  • Knowledge of systems engineering roles and functions, including requirements management, functional analysis, configuration management processes and procedures.

  • Experience using tools and metrics to manage sustainment activity, including a working understanding and use of Microsoft Project and Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS).

  • Experience with Cisco Router (3900 series).

  • Experience with Catalyst Switches (6500 and 3850 series).

  • Experience with Nexus Switches (9500 series, 5548UP, 2248TP).

  • Experience with Network Appliance FAS (2240, 3240, 2650, or 8200).

  • Experience with NetApp Data OnTap Cluster Mode.

  • Experience with VMware Virtual Center Server and vSphere.

  • Experience with Solarwinds NPM and NCM.

  • Experience with Cisco Secure ACS or ISE.

  • Experience with McAfee Enterprise Firewall and Sidewinder Firewall.

  • Experience with standard/extended ACLs, as used in IOS/NX-OS.

  • Identification of any errors or correction needed to system technical diagrams and documentation, including installation, configuration, and operations & maintenance guides, as well as system/application verification and validation instructions.

Plan for extended support of requirements to anticipate launch delays and recycle opportunities in support of the launch manifest. * Evaluate the launch site and support facility architecture plans, provide configuration management of current architectures, and manage the systems baselines for communication, video, data transmission, emergency management, power and backup power (UPS and generator), HVAC, structural, water/sewage, other systems upgrades and proposed modifications. Products include but are not limited to CONOPS and FRD/SRD. * Conduct systems engineering analyses, planning, design review, and studies to identify methods for fulfilling user requirements based on existing capabilities. * Conduct engineering analyses, planning, design review, and studies to identify any requirement shortfalls and provide capability assessments, CONOPS, and risk assessments to ensure launch site and support facility readiness to meet mission needs. * Technically analyze launch site and support facility user-requested changes and provide recommended implementation options to 30 OG. Analyze the requested changes within the context of launch site and support facility requirements and develop system designs, implement system updates, and document changes to baseline launch site and support facility drawings, documentation, and the capability documents. * Conduct launch site and support facility project management, surveillance, testing, quality control inspections, assess project documentation, maintain and/or oversee all entries into the 30 OG Facilities Infrastructure Database and produce reports as required by the 30 OG. Update drawings, systems configuration, create and manage checklists, maintain a list of systems specifications, history of issues, equipment demarcations, and life expectancy of associated equipment. Maintain continuity products containing facility and system reports, schedules, work orders, facility layouts, drawings/schematics including redlines, and relevant electronic files for ancillary equipment in support of missions. * Deliver an integrated schedule of launch site and support facility projects and provide recommendations for de-confliction of issues affecting utilization of the launch site and support facility.
