Coordinate performance improvement initiatives for the Facilities Management (FM) Division. Provides expertise and recommends departmental policy for process improvement programs for the Division.
Works with department managers to develop successful cross-functional teams that will enable them to reach their strategic goals. Oversee and coordinate all training related activities for the Facilities Management Division.
Administrator for the Learning Management System (Taleo) for the FM Division. Supervise the development of FM related training materials and activity. Support the FM Improvement programs.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Supervises/manages staff and all of their key functions including workload assessment and planning, work reviews/1:1 meetings, development and monitoring of applicable policies and procedures, and issue resolution. Conducts performance evaluations, and handles personnel matters. Establishes goals, determine resource requirements, and allocates available resources to meet those goals.
Support process improvement and deliver associated training
Lead and assist customers in development or improvement of processes to support their work, as well as offer appropriate training as required. Implement tools and methods for continuous performance improvement, including development of training programs to meet specific needs.
Assist in the design, development and facilitate courses related to process improvement and metrics. Course can include LEAN, Data Driven Decision Making, and Change Management (may include others).
FM Divisional Training Program
Identify and assess future and current training needs.
Analyzes training requests, researches and recommends appropriate training solutions that cover a variety of training methods (instructor led, web based, etc.). Organize, plan, and execute training sessions for FM employees.
Serve as administrator for the institutional Learning Management System (Taleo) for the FM division. Work with FM departments to build and implement training programs.
Obtain Customer and Employee feedback for divisional products and services. Design/develop and distribute surveys using Qualtrics and/or SharePoint. Provide reports and analysis on survey results.
Other duties as assigned
Required: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development or related field. Three years of performance improvement, performance management, or project management experience in a business or health care environment equivalent.
Preferred: Master's Level Degree.
Certified Quality Manager. Five years of curriculum development or project management experience in technology, business, or health care and one year of supervisory experience.
