Working with the SVP, Executive Director of Human Resources, the Sr. HR Manager is responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day operations of the HR function at Innocean. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves position that requires a heavy bias for action. Key responsibilities include managing daily tasks of the HR team, employee relations, and employee engagement programs and support of leadership to drive talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Collaborate with SVP to oversee and assist human resources team achieve company, departmental and individual goals
  • People Development: Develop, implement, and continuously optimize a people development program which caters to individual department needs and overall employee satisfaction.
  • Develop an understanding of the business
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive positive impact
  • Build and maintain collaborative, consultative working relationships with all staff at all levels
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance including career development, goal setting, performance
  • With the HR team, participate and manage the employee life cycle including recruiting, on-boarding, training, retaining and off-boarding staff
  • Assist with general questions around policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws
  • Strong working knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and best practices for candidate experience.
  • Benefits/Compensation: Annual evaluation of benefits and compensation to ensure employees and industry average needs and benchmarks are maximized.
  • People engagement: Monitoring and developing strategies to improve employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • People experiences: Design and implement a cross agency on-boarding program which caters to individual department needs. Serve as management sponsor of the Celebration Team to ensure our people have fun at work.
  • Compliance: Ensure our Company policies are compliant with current law and that our people practices are best in class.


  • 5+ years in the advertising industry - this is a requirement for this role.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a people-oriented role, preferably with L&D or coaching familiarity within a creative environment.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred (not required but a plus)

Restaurant Support Center in Huntington Beach, CA Status: Full Time / Exempt Responsibilities: * General Ledger accountability * Research and respond to all general ledger questions/inquiries * Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements to ensure appropriate accounting control procedures * Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for period end close * Ensure financial records are maintained, in compliance with accepted policies and procedures; maintain necessary working papers related to journal entries and reconciliations * Correspond with various departments to compile financial data, for monthly reporting as needed, to ensure accurate and timely period end reporting * Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements * Assist in providing follow up and documentation of significant variance * Assist with quarterly and annual financial audits as needed * Assist with the annual corporate budgeting process * Contribute to department and/or company special project as assigned * Coach and train team members as necessary * Financial reporting as well as other special projects assigned Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting a must * 3-5 years progressively responsible experience in accounting * Thorough understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP) * Strong analytical and accounting skills * Multi-unit experience strongly preferred * Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills * Extremely detail oriented and possess high level of accuracy * Ability to work independently and/or with a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty * Ability to work with minimal up front guidance and take ownership of his/her work * Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment * Ability to proactively resolve or escalate issues across functions and follow up as necessary * Strong problem solving and organizational skills * Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook or similar programs * Microsoft Dynamics and FAS experience a plus * Public accounting experience preferred Salary: Commensurate with experience Posting Expiry Date: December 15, 2019 There is no relocation assistance provided for this position.
