Summary:

As an Sr. Human Resource Generalist you will be responsible for complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions. In this challenging position you will build relationships with senior business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution. You will solve problems and determine the most strategic outcome for both the business, HR and our people. At TTM, we are taking HR to the next level and looking for Business Partners who think outside the box to offer a strategic approach to employee relations, talent management, engagement, leadership training and L&D initiatives.


Position Overview:
80% Human Resource Generalist

Responsibilities:
Strategic guidance to the business around, organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture, employee engagement, coaching and development, conflict resolution, data analysis, and employee relations.
10% Talent Management: Support business leaders with assessing talent and building out individual retention programs, as well as training and development opportunities.
10% Miscellaneous HR Responsibilities as needed.
  • 10% Travel may be required, including international travel to Canada, South America and Europe

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of HR business partner or generalist experience

  • 3+ years of supporting senior leaders at a global company.

  • Ability to establish, build and maintain strong relationships

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Work with information that requires discretion and confidentiality.

  • Competent in written and oral communication including making presentations and providing status updates.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Human Resources or Related Field
  • PHR or higher certification

Primary Responsibilities: * Develop and drive communications that engage employees in UnitedHealth Group Human Capital programs - with a particular emphasis on health and wellness benefits and programs * Provide strategic direction for Human Capital communications * Develop a collaborative communications environment in which the internal communications team can do its best work and make a measurable, positive impact on employee engagement, understanding and morale * Lead the work by doing - this position will not only direct and manage others in the work, he or she will be expected to create plans, write and edit work * Collaborate with business, communications and Human Capital leaders in creating and positioning messages that will resonate and strengthen engagement with UnitedHealth Group's Human Capital programs Required Qualifications: * 10 years of experience in communications, including extensive human resources and benefits communication, with proven staff mentorship and development expertise * Experience providing counsel and support to senior leaders regarding communications-related opportunities and issues, and in particular, human resources opportunities and issues Preferred Qualifications: * Experience performing communication needs assessments (with key stakeholder analysis) to align communications with the needs of the business and define audiences to be addressed * Experience in developing communication content tailored to the specific medium and audience requirements (e.g., emails, speeches, scripts, blogs, web posts, talking points, briefing packets, preparation materials, backgrounders, training decks) * Experience with strategic thinking and developing a long-term plan and ensuring its execution * Experience building and/or significantly upgrading communication capabilities as well as the ability to improve processes and organizational talent Careers at UnitedHealth Group.
